Short Biography:

Nothing is known about the De Carrarans before their manumission. Their origins are a guess, and their path to freedom remains a mystery. The familly's history counts merely two generations, and is closely tied to the independent Maltese transport ship "MS Prepotente", owned by now deceased Lorenzo of Appiani family, where then enslaved Saverio's parents, Matteo and Eliza, served as crewmen.

After their release from slavery, da Carrarans willingly continued to live and serve on board Lorenzo's starship. The only excuse they found to suspend their spacer lifestyles was when Eliza fell into an unexpected pregnancy. Ms. De Carrara, for the reasons only known to her, wanted her child to be born nowhere else, but on Malta. She carried the child succesfully, giving birth to a healthy boy who they named Saverio. As soon as the boy was old enough to speak, De Carrarans countinued their endeavouurs on board the trafficker's ship, allowing Saverio to master the spacefarer's trade. Missing formal education of any kind, he developed skills in pilotage, engineering, shiphandling, negotiation and diplomacy, also learning Sirian languages in the process.

805. A. S. "MS Prepotente" was reported missing after twenty-four hours of no contact. There was no wreckage, and no rumors. As the ship was making regular cargo runs to Liberty at the time, it was assumed that it got intercepted, captured, or even destroyed by Libertonian authorities. Crew was assumed dead. Fatalities were to include: Eliza de Carrara, Matteo de Carrara, and even Lorenzo de Appiani himself.

Saverio not only lost his loving parents, but also a wealthy patron, thus, he was now forced to start his life again within Maltese society. With only a handfull of credits in his pocket and an escort fighter given to him by Lorenzo, he formed a raiding band with few independent criminals, living off by shipping back home whatever goods he could pillage, slowly gaining wealth, reputation and notoriety.

Years of life as a looter have given him considerable fortune, a fortune he was now ready to invest. Knowing that he has little to no chance of
competing against Maltese cartels in cultivation of the yellow plant, he turned his eyes upon a small, inconspicuous, dry planet orbiting a star of Omicron Tau, rumored to be rich in metals his nation so desperately needed.

Saverio believes to have a real chance to have his surname soon recognized by all of the Maltese, but before this becomes a reality, he must find partners, whom he can trust. Also, given the quirks of Outcast culture, it won't do either without starting a family...


Reason to join:

- Our way of life is threatened by republicans, who reject Maltese principles. We must stop them.

- One voice, one throne. A task of governing a nation should not be layed not upon a senseless mob, but upon an individual prepared for his role since birth. We need a ruler, and all of Malta needs to bask in his glory.

- I seek dependable and trustworthy patrons and partners to do business with.

- Slavery is vital part of our culture. and should never be aboilished. However, I do hope that imperial institutions will regulate terms of servitude, and create a clear path for slaves to rise up within our society.

Short Biography: Teresa was born in the small town of Nueva Granada in Malta, and learned the basic family trade of Cardamine farming. She was eventually orphaned in 820 A.S. when a fuel explosion in a cargo ship killed both of her parents, and decided to join a crew of pirates. After a brief bout with Burgundian warships, however, two years later, she found herself owning only her own skin and a heavy fighter ship. Now, she looks for employment again.

Reason to join: A born and bred Maltese, Teresa just wants something to give meaning to her life and help her survive to a ripe old age surrounded by riches. The Coalition offers just that, and Teresa is buying.

Short Biography: I grew up on Ibiza base and was raised by my parents, Rico Wells and Maria Wells-Ramírez, who were both scientists on the station. I grew an affinity for technology as a child and soon became a full-time tech at the station. I primarily worked on communications but also spent some time working on the station's mainframes. Unfortunately, my parents were both killed by Bounty Hunters in 814 A.S. who were on a patrol. My parents were on a peaceful survey mission and had little combat experience. After that, I swore vengeance and signed up for station defense. After spending a few years earning some credits doing defense, I used the family savings to buy an Aspis battle transport. I figured if I could build a reputation hauling Cardamine, I could get in with powerful people, like the Imperial Coalition. Then, at last, I could hopefully use this network to find the scum who did this to my parents. while helping Malta as well.

So, nowadays I spend my time running Cardamine. I continue the search and the fire in my eyes cannot be snuffed out easily. Malta for life.

Short Biography:She was born on Malta, living a relative calm childhood. Due to her parents, both being military pilots she was sent to a military academy for training. During 826 AS she joined the ranks of the Cadiz Cartel and worked for their Chief of Security Daguza Ecoas and was working closely with the Gen’an cell. She was also the second in command on one of the cartel‘s warships. After the disbandment and the retirement of Daguza Ecoas, she was awarded the command of the former QC security flagship and worked on her own with some maltese organisations and the gen’an cell mostly.
