It kinda is if you dock before dying Smile

I mean, Tanith got (in my opinion rightfully) quite the flak here when he wanted a dock counted as kill.

Makes sense, though, at least from an RP perspective. A badly damaged vessel is going to try and limp to safety most of the time.

Now, planet diving or double nova'ing yourself, that's poor sportsmanship and a bunch of bull in terms of RP.

The problem is that if fights are within 15K of a station you kind of can't prevent people from docking if they really want to.

Quickdocking which is the way people dodge being killed is about as sound inRP as dodging being killed by hugging a planet and saying you crashlanded to avoid death.

This is the team position. Anyone who docks is PvP dead for the 30 minute reduced period imposed by the conflict system, but this is not kill denial per the rules.

In other news, the Hessian / Coalition bounty payouts for killing Bounty Hunters are fixed. There was a typo in the BHG ID name which I missed earlier.

Just like assaulting a station to chase a blue makes sense InRP if you have no concept of death because by gameplay mechanic. You respawn.

Just as much as assaulting any capital ship in your fighter lacks sense as you have no concept of death from its point defense system. Except 5 fighters can kill a capital ship. And a lot of stations are smaller than a battleship.

EDIT: Also I'm fairly sure I've seen NPCs around hostile stations. They don't survive long but they are there and fighting the station and its defenses.

Yeah, there being no fear of death leads to some stupid shit. But it is what it is xd

What is even more un-immersive is watching a battleship quickdock on a station that is twice as small as it just before it explodes so that it gets to shoot at the enemies until the very last moment.

Oh nice so now we can expect the entire imperial side to hide out on their base and either dock or flee down the lane when RHA comes to raid and they start dying. Because the only situation where they would do otherwise is if they outnumber us with gunships.

I already know how this event is going to go. Very well.
