Maybe your video card is old. That might cause the lag. The new systems are more graphics intensive than the vanilla ones. And that area near the ruins is quite heavy for the video card. Too much nebulae and stuff. Sometimes, i have to lower the filters of my 6600GT from 16x AF, 8x AA to 8x AF, 4x AA because the game lags due to the high particle count in some nebulae of the new systems, FPS goes as low as 40, and while PvPing that might mean a defeat.

Some infocards don't list what tags the base/planets sells and the NL one doesn't list the name change certificates.

i dont think its my video card coz i have a almost brand new compy
i was there with sum other guy and it lagged for the too

Igiss, can we please get some default weapon layouts for the capships? I mean as in - we buy the capships _with_ some weapons mounted.

They are expensive and all, and you need nearly another 100mil to arm properly... not because of me, I already have a few battleships that are equipped to my taste, I'd eventually have to buy two to four turrets... but the people who don't already have BSs are finding it very difficult to trade so much... kinda spoils the fun.

I know this was already said before... I just had to repeat...

I've added stock battleship turrets for sale on each base where capital ships are sold. It shouldn't be a problem to equip the ship.

FACTION IDs:


Faction IDs don't work


The tag of the faction you join does not show to other players, so they dont know your a member of a faction unless they scan you

Members of the same faction or allied factions DO NOT appear green to each other, and enemies dont appear red

it should work like this :

A faction ID should give you the tag of a faction, this is the only way they can have an effect on roleplaying, this will then show to other players so they can see your a member of a faction and it will also show you as the correct colour.

otherwise they are pretty pointless, altho the different tractor beams are nice :S
i was rather hoping that these IDs would give you the tag, and everyone would be flying around with nice tags infront of their names

^this gives great possibilities for roleplaying as you will be able to instantly see an enemy aproaching, flying an enemies tag and bright red. as it stand its just another thing to look for before attacking someone heh.


can this be done?



Also : colonial viper - infocard states it has 2 turrets, it has one.

Yes, I didn't check the prices on those, guess if it's mot more than 300.000, it's OK...

also, Teaboy is right about the IDs, would make much more sense to it.

um the assault firgate says it has 12 turs but it only has 11

I don't honestly know if this has been reported. I didn't look through all of the numerous pages, so if its a repost, sorry. My time is limited at the moment. I did however have a problem. I was looking at the new features, the shields actually. I saw multiple slots for shields. Like a lot, maybe 8 or 10 I think? All of them said Freighter Shield class 1, and was equipped. I tried to unequip one, and it crashed my FL. Never seen anything like that, is that part of the upgrade? Multiple shield mounts? well thanks thats my 2 sense for the moment.
