Before we continue the subject of having the proper supporting capital ship in the Security Forces, we need to first organize our current squadrons. Kappa squadron is completely shot down in organization with all the constant changes and it has no squadron leadership. It requires a leader that lets its squadron members know what is expected of them, what they should be doing, and how they can go about doing it. GANK lacks members completely which is a bad thing since this is the squadron that is guarding our home. If either squadron does not serve their purpose simply scrap them both and come up with new ideas to organize the Security Forces. The fleet needs organization. The trading fleet in the Economic Department also needs organization seeing as this is where recruiting comes in. Without a functioning economic we lack pilots and funding for the security. Make banners, signatures, recruitment messages, anything to bring in more bodies. There are those that are doing what duty requires of them, but they require the leadership of the council. Remember every member of council has the right to select another body or two to support them. Before becoming official however they must first be voted in by council decision.

ORGANISATION

For certain, no other member of the GMG has elected to commission a GANK squadron ship. This sends a clear message to me that the Guild does not wish to be associated with such.

I am therefore disbanding the GANK. This will take time and funding so I ask for patience at this time.

As stated by the CEO, Kappa Squad has no clear leadership. With this in mind the new Albatross will be the squadron flagship under my leadership. If the Council has any objections I suggest they veto this BEFORE I commission the ship.

I shall also be seeking to recommission my contract trader 'Jasman' to a proper GMG freighter. Again this will take time and funding.


RECRUITMENT


When the 'cash cow' trade run was lucrative and stable, Sigma-13 was nearly always a hive of activity. Pilots from all walks of life would be exposed to the actions of the GMG.

I myself would take note of GMG friendly ships, or pilots who were clearly inexperienced - and suggest they read some our archived material.

Sigma-13 is a ghost system now. Banner and signatures are nice, but unless new pilots are directed to the forums to read them they will not have the desired effect.

To this end, I shall commission a Taidaan Bomber GMG-Kang.Jung.Su

For the timebeing, this ship shall act as a goodwill ambassador of sorts in New York. This ship shall seek out new pilots and attempt to assist them, whilst promoting the GMG. I believe acting as a goodwill ambassador will present the GMG in a positive light - rather than as yet another 'gang' defending their 'turf'.

Sigma-13 is secured and lets hope it stays that way no matter how quiet it gets. Without all the civilians running around in the area the Corsairs have no reason to bother the system. Even if they attack we have enough storages to hold the H-fuel prices at average and that is not including what is already in the bank of the Kusari. I am ordering the holding of all strikes while we monitor their behavior towards the guild. Its been a rather long time since we have made any contact with Rheinland, but we have made contact with the terrorist group Bundshuch. They tend to flee to the junker depot from New Berlin. We can use this group to focus our attention on Rheinland and the movements of its war machine. Its time to begin training the members of the Security Forces and time for clan leadership to step up to responsibility. I have no problem with finding new leadership replacing those that has been here since the beginning. We need a working guild.

All patrols the Junker vessel Tron has aided the Rheinland war machine against us. This vessel is now Kill on sight.

In other news a republican shipping vessel was shot down attempting to flee patrols in Sigma-13 -> Sigma-19. The debris from the ship has been cleaned from the Sigma-19 mining operations and production has continued. Security officers did very well in warning the ship to return to its homeland which the ship did not. We believe the ship had attached spy gear to send Rheinland critical information.

I might point out here that it is the CEO who has veto power - not other members. The CEO is my superior, as is the Board when it votes on a matter.

As it stands there are not enough pilots to constitute two separate squadrons, hence the disbanding of the GANK.

It is the CEO who has highlighted the lack of leadership of Kappa squad, yet you would assert I cannot assume such leadership, even though I am head of security and responsible for organising the squadrons?

If other members have continuing concerns, then let it be put to a vote.

If other members refuse to recognise my leadership as head of security, then let them speak. I will not force the issue if it is made clear that my services are not required, or that any authority constituted to me is not respected by other members.

You forgot to mention that the Rhindland war machine was in fact a Repex trader, and that you were totaly out of R/P by attacking it as you ID states that you are law abiding, you were asked by several players not to get out of R/P, you will be lucky if you don't receive a sanction for this, you also forgot to mention you ran to dock during the fight as your real objective in attacking the trader was to get the Blue Blaze he was carrying and that if you were shot down you would loose it, I don't think your Boss will be to pleased with you for bringing the good name of the GMG into disrepute
