well i put dortmund for the IMG traders (IMG shipping to their allies is inRP) since there is only a loss of $90 credits in total which isnt a real loss but yeah if your a RepEx you should goto the Ring instead


2nd route: wasnt sure about it being RP for Gateway but thought i would mention it anyway since they are a Bretonian shipping company

I think of my daily experiences on this routes, they can both be good roleplayed and gives you a good profit.


And now to the "OORP"-Trade-Route-Cryers...
Even the Diamond-Niobium-Run isnt such "OORP" when you use the Lanes and not the JumpHoles.
I did and still doing this run:

Planet New Tokio - Station Leipzig - Yokohama Shipyard hauling Niobium to Rheinland and High Temerature Alloy back to Kusari.
(Route is: New Tokio - Honshu - Sigma13 - Frankfurt - New Berlin - Dresden)

I will find more profitable, good rplayable routes.

Till an alternative is found for the OORP routes, IE an RP route that is just as good, stop going on about how OORP they are.

By "as good" I think you mean "as lucrative" - well there are plenty. They probably take longer to generate serious creds, but what's the harm in that. I mean the money is only a key to other things, which arent all that important anyway. The mineral run from New York to Leeds and back is fine; as is the food from cambridge to colorado and then back with....forget...slaves? :P

Yamato: nice to see you're varying things; watch you dont get caught smuggling light arms out of Bretonia. Pretty pirate free route, though.

These are great Akina, I use them aswell, beside my BMM trader that does less profitable routes...

The Niobium run is second per tonne, in cold hard cash you get per time required the best one around... but there are many routes that come within a fraction of it's profitability that take you to great places, where pirates arn't on every jumphole, and a rtader can prosper in good RP...

I'd be concerned about a couple of things here, in RP terms:

1. You're suggesting a Bretonian company should ship a commodity banned in Bretonia. You can bet this would make for political trouble and rather...complicated RP. What route would Bowex take to the Taus? Certainly not through Bretonian space.

2. You're also suggesting a Bretonian company - the one supplying the Bretonian military - should trade through the Taus, controlled by Kusari. Again, some complicated RP.

And it is trading from a Zoner Planet to a Zoner Freeport back to a Zoner Station.
I dont care if the Tau Systems are controlled by the Kusari Forces. Kusari didnt own them right now and Zoners at the Freeport also want their Stuff, in exchange for Xeno Organism and Terraforming Gases for the development of Planet Harris.
Thanks for that hint with the Light Arms, I looked that up, you are right; so wether i should find another good for hauling or i should find a way to transport this anyways...
I have to contact the BAF therefore...

(I wish to transport that Light Arms anyways, Zoners of Lanzarote Station asked for them, maybe they like to be prepared cause of the Corsair-presence there; i dont know, iam just a trader...

i think he mainly means the Cambridge to New Berlin route as it goes through Cambridge, Omega 3 + 7 where Corsairs hang around

If you want to make a GMG trader you can run Plutonium from Ogashawa to Lanzarote, then Deuterium from Gran Carina to Honshu (then consumer good to Ogashawa for a little extra profit).

I personally find the asteroids in Omega to be better flying than Tau-31 - and the odd pirate adds a bit of spice!
