Light arms to Gran Canaria and deuterium back to Planet New London? That one works for me. Very short, fairly profitable. Takes you through Poole and Omega 50 on the way to Omega 49, is completely and utterly void of pirates, and while you have to be at least neutral with the BPA Guard, it's a fairly good run.

Try taking Luxury Consumer Goods from Manhattan to Cambridge and then Luxury Food from Cambridge to Manhattan.

All Jump gates, no worries about being called oorp, and a decent profit too. The best part is you wont get kicked for selling those commodities.
Im not sure how it compares in profit to Diamonds/Niobium because I dont do that run.
