HALP! 522nd BG Help.

[Walker]

The 522 are facing a wee-dillema...

Our Carrier the Cruicible of Justice is the Cradle of our Roleplay and most of our things are based out from it...

However the 522nd Battlegroup is in need of an ID that will allow that...

So far weve came up with...
Outcast ID - More generalized towards the definition of "Outcast"
Liberty Rogues ID - Generalized towards the fact that we are "Liberty Rogues" a Rogue Navy Battlegroup
Junker ID - Allies.
Zoner ID - Its well... Zoners... You get the idea...

Anywho. . . You guys got any suggestions for ID's? Or if it would be okay to use ONE of the above?

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

Well nut-shell.
the 522nd is an ex-Liberty Navy Battlegroup who believe after the most weird exile of them that the Navy has become corrupt... Basically we are a rebellion group who are fighting to restore Liberty to Freedom and etc... We also have looked at Pirate groups which we fought just because they fought what we fought for at the time and surprisingly their cause made good sense...

So basically a very-well-staffed-and-funded Rebellion of the Liberty Navy.


Unless you guys prefer wed use the Navy ID with the LNs Permission...

I'd say Liberty Rogues is about closest fit. Too inflammatory for a Junkers tag.

The only other alternative is to continue as Liberty Navy but be hostile to them or else find some RP though a corporation that might be sympathetic to you and fly as the corporation.

The problem is all the options like "pirate", "mercenary" and "freelancer" have been restricted in ships only allowed to factions, as they are *cough* more responsible.

That's why BH's (apparently) can fly about slaying starfliers with battles cruisers but mere "mercenaries" must face them in gunboats.

You have a dilemma. I would actually chose "Liberty Navy but hostile to same" but thats prolly gonna get you flamed crispy.

Good luck--don't pick Junkers though. We would never sponsor an armada fighting directly and actively against house military forces and groups with an actual battle fleet for anything other than self defense.

I would love to see you become a rogue element of the Liberty Navy, hostile to same but who's goals are to stop bounty hunters operating in Liberty.

Basically opposing the legality of BHs to act as law enforcement under the Liberty constitution.

But you would need real ships to do that.

Oh well.

It's also a little though to claim "Junkers" as "allies"--neutral, sure. A few independent Junkers supported you and the Harvesters with them--but Harvesters are their own faction. You would be allied with them. other Junkers though would be, "Hmmm, what's in this for us and why would we want this kinda heat?"
