Hi all, i thought you should get a heads up on this one, i was on the teamspeak server yesterday and when i went to fire it up today, my Anti-Virus program stopped me and said my Teamspeak.exe was infected with a virus called Backdoor.Darkmoon.fw
I have no idea how it was infected but clearly somone on the server either has a virus or someone is deliberately giving others one.
I will no longer be using the teamspeak server until this is dealt with. Anyone that has been on the TS server, i would suggest scanning your teamspeak.exe with AVG anti Virus.

Ok, been doing some reading and this could be just a false property with AVG, i will investigate this further for now, it may not be a virus.. could have just been in the update of AVG this morning, or it could be some huge virus that has been going around for a long time with nothing detecting it.
Like i said though, i will see what else i can find out, if anyone else has any more info on this, please pop it in here.

Huh, that's weird. I wouldn't think TeamSpeak itself had a virus implemented in to the Teamspeak.exe, as a virus warning has never come up before with anyone else I know who uses Team Speak (and there's a lot). Then again, maybe the virus was downloaded from the server itself? (Unless it was my server, if it was I'll be pissed. >_<)
I tried to install TS from the official download again and the same thing happened. It is not from your server hun, that much is for sure. It could still just be that AVG has an error, i am checking all the areas from the list on the web site (see link above), to make sure i do not have this virus. If i do not have it, then it is deffinately an error with AVG. I will update when i know more.

Well, the thing I'm finding weird about all of it as they the Virus actually has a valid name. Most false positives I've seen simply come up as "Unknown Virus" or "Other Virus", instead of an actual name... So I'm confused! >_<
Ok, i run all the checks that were listed, it seems i do not have the virus, howerver i have now downloaded the updated TS 2 Client .EXE Version 2.0.33.7 and scanned that, it comes up clean. Maybe the old .EXE was infected then.
