From my experience, ive flown and owned the Liberty GB and Rheinland GB before and own a Corsair GB but versed the IMG and BH GS many times.

Corsair GB:
Just fine, its 8 turrets make up for its bad mobility and size.

Liberty GB:
When I had one I found it very nice to fly. Good Mobility and speed. 6+1 foward firing guns plus one more that doesnt.
Instead of droping one of the foward turretss just prehaps take its ability to fire foward away.

Rheinland GB:
Has the most armor out of the House GBs. 6+1 as well.
Great GB, I see no problems with it

IMG GB:
Hard to SN, its fairly agile prehaps yes decrease its armor.

BH GS:
Very hard to SN.
Prehaps just drop its armor below the Capital Ship armor requirments. That should be enough.
Or take one of its turrets off
It might be replaced next mod thanks to Jinx's new GS.

whats the point of haveing a FOREWARD gun then if you cant fire foreward if anything decrese its recharge by like .02 or something

As you can see, the amount of armour, number of guns, powerplant, and the handling are almost identical. However, for some reason the IMG gunboat is almost 3 times as wide, and only slightly thinner.

either IMG gunboat needs a boost, or the rogue gunboat needs nerfing, but I think most people consider the rogue gunboat pretty balanced, so I'd think the IMG needs boosting

As a bomber pilot I find the IMG GB quite easy to SN, its all about positioning yourself right for your SN run.

The IMG GB is a nightmare for other GB's more than anything else. The up/down strafe is excellent on it coupled with its pancake like weirdness, makes it very hard to hit from behind.

I like the fact that its kinda unusual, I think its pretty good as it is.

The Rogue GB is an awesome aiming platform, with pretty small size, but isn't that hard to hit, perhaps it does need a little bit of a nerf.

My opinion is both the Rogue Gunboat and the IMG are well balanced considering their 6 Turrets IMG maybe even has the edge because of it's profile.

Compared to house Gunboats and the Corsair Gunboat both lack firepower for a bit more agility which I think works pretty well in fact mostly Gunboats are balanced the only thing throwing it off in my opinion is the unneeded Gunship class.

To mess with the 2 most balanced Gunboats in the game is just asking for problems and yes I'm slightly biased because I fly a rogue but I've also flown the IMG the only bad thing about that was I really found the flatness kind of ugly.

If you see the IMG gunboat and the Rogue gunboat side by side, it's ridiculous. I always thought the IMG gunboat was flat as hell, but in fact it's only slightly flatter than the Rogue, but 3 times wider. Just seemed ridiculous to me.

Don't know what the hitboxes are like, which I suppose is what really matters.

like i mentioned many times before, IMG is not by any means small ship... its low profile is only edge that it has... and in fact from the front hit box is somewhat higher then ship it self...

however, i do agree that is very balanced ship...not too much of anything but sufficient to do the job if it is used correctly...balance wise, it stands shoulder to shoulder to Rouge GB...

both GBs are rather weak, but one has small size on its side and other has low profile...not all is in fire power...

I've extensivly flown the Corsair GB, for a few days now.. and well being a pirate in sigma 13... all kinds of things come your way...

Equiping 8 regular turrets, goes a long way vs most anything in that gunboat. With a x3 armor, i can safeley engage outcast destroyers and win. In any situation this gunboat excells... mostly becouse cruisers are underpowered... but that's another story.

I fly also the Dragon and Kusari Gunboat and booth fade in comparison. With the corsair GB, i'm able to take on anything, with other two, I'm having a tad harder time. The forward guns are useless when you try to run away (wich you do with a few cruisers up your behind) and they are not as usefull when taking on traders... khm transport ships. Forward guns should be boosted. Perhaps giving them 2.5k distance. Or something else to offset their limited firing arc.

Corsair GB is a huge supernova magnet, not to mention it's easier to hit than a Kusari destroyer. All in all it's balanced.

Forward guns

Well they can do really a lot of damage compared to other GB guns and they have quite fast refire. But yes the very limited firing arc (depending on ship) is too much of a disadvantage...

I think they should at least have a 2k range (like cerbs and infernos), and maybe even a bit higher speed. (600-700?)

Yeah the Corsair Gunboat is one tough ship I've yet to beat one I got killed by another a few days back I was in a Bretonian Gunboat but the blames partly my own fault wasn't equipped right and my aim with the forward gun wasn't great but I think it's ok the corsairs need a good ship and that's it.

I'll add the Bretonian Gunboat is by far the best Gunboat I have flown as yet as far as firepower and armour I don't think my Rogue would have a chance in a 1 on 1 (if it was possible for me to fly against myself that is).

I like fighting the Corsair Gunboats even though I keep losing against them I wouldn't mind trying one myself but I've to many characters as it is.

Also agree on normal Cruisers being toughened up a bit.
