From what I was told (I wasn't there), that was because there were 5 Valors/Remembrances/Redemptions to the KNF side's 3 BCs and 4 Dessies. Kusari players are simply quitting the war because the cap fights devolve to us getting dogpiled by battleships. Chances are, I'm not going to log for caps anymore, I'll stick to fighters because even when I'm getting stomped by the other side who has a significant chunk of the top 10% of PVPers, at least they aren't spamming battleships

And even though that happened, what is being left out conveniently here is that after this almost everyone undocked again, and went to fight the 4 battleships plus the very cool and good cloaking BS that showed up moments later, anyway. Despite there being little chance of achieving anything.

Cmon Grosh, I've never seen this in the fights and they undocked after this one

You know what a chav asshole I am on indies, if it were up to me there would be player list metagaming, constant docking cloaking and baiting against people that don't mind unbalanced cap battles and openly gank (not your fault - you can't control
blue chasing indies )


But the Kusari guys don't do it, they play nice, too nice in my opinion
Easy fix to keep them logging is just to have chars on both sides and switch when the event fights are unbalanced

The only cloaker I know of on kusari is me? On my BC? And I suicided into a cruiser on top of your base, there was like a 10% chance I'm getting a kill and I went for it for a quick log before sleep...I am used to playing dirty because that's the only way you survive on an indie in Liberty and this seems awfully close to it.

EDIT: Drake event was exactly like this, strong start, big numbers in first few days, one side starts to be winning + piling. The event then almost totally died in last few days.

There is no added economic incentive, no missions or trade - people log to have fun and have a chance at good fights

nice joke , I make a battle in Kusari caps, and to tell you, I understand them, in one battle I saw some unbearable bullshit, between the guy who disconnected in the space in the middle of the battle, because he is alone, and the other side I see 5 Remembrance (you can add the BC and other smaller ship) come out to kill 3 BC, 1 BS and 1 cruiser (maybe I forget some), even if this is an Event and I'm for Gallia, I would like someq Gallic players to come and help Kusari, be careful, I don't ask for a full BS indian army on Kusari side, but I would like a few more Kusari players.
