Discovery Freelancer Mod Installation Guide

Thanks for the quick response. I reinstalled and excluded the folder. I'm on the RP server but I don't see distances for anything in my flight UI. Did a quick search on forums and don't see a thread for it. Any suggestions are welcome.

Nevermind, figured it out. Was because I was running it at UHD. Display is fine at 2560x1600.

In case it's helpful to others, I found a way to run Discovery in UHD (3840 x 216) with the distances etc to display in the flight UI:
1. Go to \\AppData\Local\Discovery Freelancer 4.91.0\DATA\FONTS\
2. Open the fonts.ini file with a text editor
3. Change the fixed_height of HudSmall to 0.025000
4. Change the fixed_height of Normal to 0.025000
5. Save and launch Discovery

Hello I need some help to update the launcher,

I installed both Freelancer and Discovery launcher 4.91 but when I open the launcher it gives me message that I need to update "Patch launcher" so when I patch it, it closes and never open again.

I tried to patch it manually it gives me this message,

"remote version is equal to or lesser than local version. Remote:214 Local:214
The program will now exit"

Any help please?

I downloaded discovery Launcher 4.91 and installed it but it closes when I patch it and never open again.

The Launcher is not working at all. Can someone please test it?

Hey y'all, I'm trying to install the launcher and i'm having issues. Essentially, after finding my freelancer directory the next function is greyed out.

From this screen, go to exe folder path of freelancer (click browse then select path to exe folder in freelancer)

Hmm, one question, was there already selected path before you enter D:/Freelancer?

Are you sure your path now is D:\Freelancer\EXE

There was not a path, and yes. I went back to confirm it.
