I was born in New London shortly after the end of the Bretonia-Gallic war. My parents moved me and my brothers to New York, where we settled in after several years. My father was a stern and strong minded chap and was keen for me to start a career in the Navy, while my mother wasn't so keen on the idea. Alas, I followed my Dads ideology. Seemed logical. Good career, pay meant nothing to me and service to the house that we now called home? Seemed like a sweet deal. After many interviews and sorting out out bi-house citizenship, I ended up attending West Point as a Naval Ensign. After an arduous course stemming over a year, I graduated with distinction and took several advanced courses based in Virginia. It was mostly classroom lessons but I learned a great deal from it. After many years service and several junior office ranked roles, I was reassigned to the Secondary Fleet and took command of my very own Interdictor Class Battlecruiser. With no war to fight in and most of the patrols being otherwise uneventful, I decided to request discharge and left.

Now I may not look like much now, but... well, lets face it, maybe I'm not much right now. But back in my day, I was Billy Badass. I had no equal, law breakers be warned. I felt my ship, I was one with it. I even unstuffed my cockpit seat just so that I feel my ship better. But I got into a bad scrap just inside of the Badlands when I was in the Navy. Got a missile on the tail, flipped her right around and smashed into one of those rock spikes. It was a miracle she held together as long as she did. I recovered well enough, but they stuck me in dispatch for a year. I tried to get into my ship, but I could barely pass simple training trials. Something was wrong with my back, I just didn't feel comfortable. They asked me why I wasn't uncomfortable, I was just uncomfortable. Damnit, I couldn't feel my ship! One of those discs in my back was slipped and I couldn't feel anything in my tailbone. I was told to hang up my wings or try out for the planetary PD. More chasing and less fighting, I suppose. Well, I could still fly and maneuver. I got the job. But I wasn't happy. I hear rumblings that the smuggling has gotten out of control. I want in. I can't fight for much, yea. But I betcha I can sit in a ship longer than any of these young bucks and tune my scanners in ways that would be presumed as witch craft. I can spot, chase, and survey alright. Leave that to me, I am your guy!
