Same reason the devteam is.

Because being secretive has worked so well for governments, devs, admins, and the community in general.

Nothing makes people trust each other more than assuring the other that in their secret echo chambers they behave very professionally and reasonably, totally different from how they behave out in the open.

You know... the kind of echo chamber where people talk crap about other people, and when those people see it and are able to prove that what was being said about them were total lies, they get banned, Squigglykey?

When decisions and judgments are passed based on "information" passed exclusively in those kinds of echo chambers, it's always guaranteed to lead to having a very just and trusting community.

A representative doesn't strictly need to be the 1iC of the faction.

I mean Unlawfuls could be pushed in oorp too - in all houses they'd be in the minority and would get outvoted anyways I think, but could advise

Make your Mollies reasonably active and I'll add you to Bretgov as a Social Democrats MP. Same goes for Gaians, their representative will get added as a Greens MP.

PS: To elaborate, reasonably active means enough to stay on the activity tracker. The same applies to unofficial lawful factions too, if there isn't an official one. I don't want dead factions exercising decision over living ones.

You have done exactly 0 things to correct what you did wrong and what you did is still in place unchanged, and people continue to suffer the consequences of it.

But somehow you still manage think it should be forgotten and you deserve a pass. Disco staff never ceased to amaze.

House governments are pretty much oorp structures with a thin rp coat of paint anyway. Especially when it comes to votes, which parts of the governments manipulate by not allowing certain options, causing negotiations that were voted on to fail, or unilaterally forming a "diplomatic corps" that take decisions on their own and without consulting other government members. There is no good reason why unlawfuls shouldnt be consulted in decisions that affect gameplay if its an oorp structure anyway.

It would also be more reasonable to let them decide themselves what kind of MP they want to be, instead of pushing personal interpretations of social democrats and green parties on others, like the misogynistic dribble some people pour into their own "feminist ambassador" char.

I've been intending to do this for a while, but there was nobody to add because Bretonian unlawful factions practically don't exist. But don't get me wrong, I'm not going to bother reviving them, I have neither the time nor the nerves for that. That's on them.

Well Mollys are active enough to stay on tracker as non-OF, but honestly - I don't want members to feel the pressure by putting them there. BRR! Is a faction built to last for people who want to log Mollys only when they really feel like it.

But yeah - it'd be a nice gesture to have unlawfuls as a oorp minority in govs so they can help wth law implications.

Although - having said that, laws don't really impact local unlawfuls heavily, but mostly neutral and foreign targets + unlawful allies. It's just about people wanting to make the house better in general helping from their perspective.
