The Secretary of Defense, in the name of The Congress, takes pride in presenting the PRESIDENTIAL UNIT CITATION to

Liberty Naval Ship AKHETATEN [BB-51]

for service as set forth in the following

CITATION:

For the display of extreme heroism, dedication, honor and courage, and ongoing commitment to upholding the ideals of our Republic. Their missions inside enemy lines during the campaign against the rogue military forces of the Insurgency, displaying their unyielding will as they tore through Insurgent defenses, and ultimately liberated the Kansas system from the Insurgency in coordination with the Delaware. Their incursion into the heart of Insurgent territory, clearing way for the Delaware and her battlegroup to cripple the Insurgent defenses, at the cost of the Delaware herself. Their continued action lays the foundation upon which Liberty marches forward, securing the nation from those who seek to destroy us. In honor of their continued service to the Republic, heroic actions, and selflessness in going well above and beyond the call of duty, we honor them with this award.
