Considering this event has already turned into a snoozefest and I saw no other Molly besides Lemon and me, and barely any other pirate I suggest heeding Lemon's advice (shocking, I know !) and adding FENCE sellpoints for Mollys in Cambridge, Leeds and New London. You can start with the same price as buy price (5 million / 1 million) and eventually up it a bit if needed.

Won't work - haulers dont have bonus if they deliver less than bought, might as well kill them then as you erase all profit.

I didn't have in mind cargo piracy but the fact that it's barely worth it to log as Molly, even with the bounty. Most traders will silent dock anyway so reducing the attractiveness of hauling as opposed to piracy might incline a few more people to try pirating / escorting.

If it were up to me I'd also try a rule that pirates have to engage escorts first, unless the escorts have a numerical advantage over them. E.g.

1 pirate 1 escort 1 trader -> pirate has to shoot escort first
1 pirate 2 escorts 1 trader -> pirate can engage transport at will
2 pirates 1 escort 1 trader -> pirates have to deal with the escort first, but the second pirate can keep the transport from escaping

In my honest opinion, the current Disco escort gameplay mechanic of scouting ahead just leads to boring gameplay and people trying to avoid each other as much as they can.

bombers are too strong as well, can't really save a hauler with even multiple escorts (we tried) - transports need a major buff in that regard

in other words: mission accomplished!

That's how you protect transports

And you counteract that as pirate by being entertaining and reasonable so people don't avoid you -_-

Which is ugh - counter intuitive when event incentivises you to kill people

As I predicted, literally nobody bothered to play the unlawfuls or even escorts. Next time, please some more incentives for them or less penalties for the haulers when they get blown up. Also, a route with less convenient escape docking points would do wonders.
