First! The great person I've met in the first days of my adventure here. He's called Yoda, or sometimes Red Eye Bill. Many names he has, indeed! He taught me how to trade, how to interact with strangers (both hostile and friendly), showed me some of the new systems! Even gave me some money for my first transport.
Next, the person I've met a little later. Furutani.Inazami was the name, I believe - hope I'm not spelling it wrong cause' Kusari names were always a bit hard for me. Such a nice person for a pirate! I was thinking she was about to rob me, but instead we had a wonderful chat and I've made a friend.

Oh, well, Groshyr, first, my pal from Gallia hah, we've been on edge for a while and we became friends, and we're both leading the same faction, me as 1iC and him as 2iC. That's why I like him, we've managed to get over our differences and it stayed correct the whole time. Also, my other friends, which most of themhave left, Leon and LegendOfTheWolf, first, who helped me build the Unione Corse, I miss them, they've been very cool despite the schism.
Hmm, who else, Ninkurra, a pretty good gal, love her RP, Lemon, a very nice fellow despite the protests around him I appreciate a lot.

Disco got me quite a few friends I still talk to to this day. Many people I still keep in touch with, from all over the world.
I'm just glad that they are still around, and all the talks and RPs I had throughout the years. That also goes for the game. The reason I still stay around is the combination of the game and the roleplay environment. There's nothing quite like it elsewhere. Chuba, Reeves, Pillow, Syf, Hubert, Jazzi, the list goes on. Some are no longer around, but I still talk to them on and off.

Most of my friends left when I left Disco. But I found some new ones, and some stayed. They are very kind and welcomed me back greatly. Some even tried to help me iRL when I needed it even while I was gone. It's hard to find such people, especially in gaming communities. One example would be Pepe. Some others too, but I don't think they are around anymore.

This is a community with great potential and many nice people aboard. Hopefully next year some of the not so nice people turn into the nice ones and we get to play happily ever after.

New Years Eve is traditionally my favorite day of the year, unfortunately this and the previous one have been far more restrictive for obvious reasons.
