The Nomads represent the single greatest threat to humanity as a whole, and The Order is the only organization with the proven ability, track record and willpower needed to combat that threat. Also I would like to take part more actively in server/faction roleplay than I have up until this point.

Valentin was born on the Sirius Coalition capital world Planet Volgograd in AS 798 to a family of Cobalt miners in the subterranean segment of one of the world's domed cities. Valentin would hear little of the Nomad War that occured shortly after his birth, partly due to the war having next to no impact on Coalition space due to it's isolation, but also because of the Commissariat of Truth's tight control on foreign news and information reaching the general population.
Valentin's parents chose to eventually leave the region to escape the constant political upheaval common within the Coalition government, and found a new life among the Junkers. Valentin pick up two extremely important skills growing up with the seedy faction. One, a keen understanding of starship mechanics and engineering. And two, many of the best smuggling routes in Sirius. It was on one of these smuggling runs that Valentin first caught glimpse of a Nomad near Freeport 11. After watching it destroy a pair of cargo vessels, Valentin decided that he might put his talents to better use than just making a quick buck. And given the less-than-legal status of the Order, he's sure they'd have use of a good smuggler.
Personality wise Valentin is a very direct and to the point individual who aligns very well with the mission and methods of the Order. Viewing the defense of humanity as a paramount duty, and having little patience for any political or moral objections people and House governments might have with the Order's actions. Valentin believes wholeheartedly that the ends can absolutely justify the means when related to the Nomad threat.

Im looking to get regularly active in Discovery this time around. I've never joined a Official faction, or any unofficial ones worth noting in my 8+ year Discovery career, and I think that's the main reason why I've been very on-again-off-again with playing. I normally play between 7pm-Midnight, 2-3 days a week(12:00 AM - 5:00 AM UTC). I haven't ever really had a reason to regularly check the forms beyond reading RP or checking events, but I can do so if needed.

Only once back in 2015. A player opened fire on my cargo transport in California without any RP or chat of any kind. I tried to OORP mention the rules to them, because of the Proximity to New York at the time I assumed they were new and had no idea there were rules at all. Eventually my ship was destroyed and I reported the other play. The Mod who reviewed it also sanctioned me for having mentioned the server rules in local chat, as it could potentially be seen as threatening to report someone regardless of my intention to educate or not. Was fined half the characters money.

I was born on Kyoto Base, and was raised on various bases depending on where my parents were assigned at the time. It was a difficult life being part of the Blood Dragon family, as we did not have the same resources as the general Kusarian population, back by the deep pocketed corrupt Samura corporation.
I was 25 when my parents were killed in a skirmish with the naval forces. By then, I was already had my own assignments and was mostly assigned to the Tohoku system, where there was a continuous threat of Nomads. I also had assignments hauling much-needed supplies to various Dragon bases. My parent's deaths had hit me hard, and I was granted leave by the Dragons to pursue my own life. My journey has brought me to the Omicron systems, where I had learned more about the Order, this organization that is dedicated to fighting the Nomad threat. I find this a worthy cause and seek to join.

I check forums on a regular basis, multiple times per day. I am online for approximately 1 hour daily around 00:00 UTC, as well as additional EU afternoon/evening hours on Mondays and Fridays, depending on my work

I would speak of complex reasons, however, I can imagine there is no vast interest in these. I suppose I am seeking a more tight-knit organisation, able to make better use of my expertise, which the Secondary Fleet often lacks, as well as cohesion and comprehension.

Andrews allegedly was born on planet Cambridge shortly before the intercolonial unrest, known amongst the selected few as Nomad War, in 796 A.S; events of 800-801 A.S. have displaced them towards the Omicrons, an area of space had proven more calm than the border worlds and even the House space. This nomadic way of life first brought Andrews to Freeport 9, and circa 811 A.S. to Freeport 11, prompting her basic and extensive education sourced from the Neural Net and extensive parental tutoring - whereas her ladylike mannerism is stemming on more formal occassions.
Through father's work contacts, that involved frequent supply contracts for The Order, have moved to Toledo where Hilda, seeking to financially support her faimly, Andrews had enlisted in Order's paramilitary corps and, by the year of Toledo's sundering, was assigned to Osiris-class battleship Kii, position which she'd served at up until 827 A.S., the year when it's acting commanding officer was killed in action during a fight in space around Taba, assuming shortly vacant position of CO of this secondary fleet battleship.
Which brings her to this point in time.

I was born and raised on Cambridge to a well-off family. As time passed, I started working for the family business which specialized in creating technologies that protected Bretonia's elite. Due to the business's high-profile clientele, we had an incident one day that involved an infected individual attempting to gain access to that list, which included names, positions, residence locations, et cetera. I managed to thwart the attempt, but putting several bullets in someone I thought to be my friend isn't something I wish to repeat. After notifying the Order of the incident followed by a couple of discussions, I joined the secondary fleet to help out where I could.

I was born on Planet New London. I worked as an intelligence officer for the BIS during the Gallic war, and I ran reconnaissance missions and have also seen a fair share of fleet combat. After the war, I took odd jobs as a freelance pilot, escorting traders in the Omegas, and eventually found my way to the Omicrons during a contract. That's when I first encountered the Nomads and saw firsthand how vicious they were. They didn't make demands, they weren't about to take survivors, they just wanted to kill us.
Since then, I took an interest in fighting these aliens, and started taking local contracts in the Omicrons. I've been around here long enough to figure the Core isn't interested in fighting the Nomads, only in controlling everyone here, but the Order seems more genuine in protecting humanity from the Nomads. I signed up with the Secondary Fleet a few months back, figured that if I'm going to fight them anyway I might as well do it for a good cause.

Originaly from planet Mannhattan, tried to make my living as a cargo ship pilot, but i always felt i could do something more important, so i began training as a fighter pilot in the Liberty Navy.
