Hello all. Connor's father here. He's asked us if he can pass a message on to you all. We're incredibly proud of what he's doing but we hope he'll be back soon. We're so greatful for all the kinda words and messages you guys have left him, and us. We come back every so often to read these when we miss him.
Hi guys. I'm still here. Unfortunately it's just me left now though. I've currently on a bit of downtime as I'm in hospital. Kinda got myself shot. It hurt. It hurt a lot and I do not recommend it. Been allowed some time to contact my family whilst I'm recovering as I'm not in a important area so to say. I hope my family will pass this on to you guys as I miss you all.
Fun isn't exactly how I would put it out here. I was absolutely terrified when I came under fire for the first time. I can't believe I'm going to say it but I've become used to it. It no longer terrifies me like it used to be but rerearding what I've just wrote scares me. When we're not focusing we laugh. My mentality has changed a lot. There's nothing worse then being attacked by artillery though. That is scary but yo lo right?
Before you guys ask. No, I have not taken a life. I will not take a life. It's not what I am out here for. Yes I carry a rifle, I have too. I will do my best not to use it. Most of my time out there has involed helping and saving people's lives. Many Ukrainian servicemen, Foreign Legion volunteers and even Russian Soldiers much to the dismay of some people. A life is a life.
Oh yeah if you see me online on any of my games it's not me, obviously. I've given my accounts to my nephew to use and keep warm for my return.
I was hoping to come back soon due to a few things that have come up with my family but things are changing out here and as a result I need to stay. There's rumours and all sorts of stuff that I've heard but I can't detail anything unfortunately. I'm hoping sort of August time, 6 months out here. We shall see.
I am trying to get myself back out asap but I'm being told it has to heal more. Not happy with that. I sorta feel fine. I'm sure I can persuade someone. See you soon Discovery!

It's disturbing to read such a post as I am a combat veteran myself. The fact that I still serve means I could fight again. Connor, get well soon. No Soldier truly wants to take a life but the fact is, we may have to and it sucks when you must.
You have my respect.

Glad to hear that Connor is doing relatively okay and a speedy recovery. Can't wait for this shit war to be over with so that everybody can go home. Everybody. Thanks for passing along his message. We are proud of him too but can't wait to see him server side again.
