like someone said .. it was fun untill the npcs. already had to lower the details at the beggining but when npcs show it was a mess. it was a very bad idea to ad those npcs, many times t i couldn't see ships in the furball, just white boxes. and also 1st. when you ask for a ceace fire to shoot the aliens, be sure to you ALL do it, and not go for the easy kill for the scoreboard. but thanks for the event it was fun , except that part of the npcs.
Alright, this went as well as the current gameplay limitations can allow it.
The things I would have changed, if I were organising the event:
- when the main Nomad Titan NPC appeared, make the kills no longer count until it is destroyed
and / or
- if the players fail to destroy the main Nomad NPC, only partial rewards will be handed out
- make the kills outside the designated event area not count for the score (though I don't think this is possible without further changes to the plugin)
The goal would be to keep the inRP behaviour of the players as true to the in-game lore as possible, though it was kind of fun to see who are the players who are only there for the pewing, and not for the Story.
Otherwise, thanks to The First Armada for organising the event. Apart from some light-hearted semi-trolling RP it seems the event can be deemed a success. Looking forward to more events from your squad!

NPC situation
This was our intent all along and went exactly as planned! The end of the event was meant to be a jumbled mess. The event winner is OMICRON NU ITSELF as eventually the majority of ships got either killed by NPCs, it distracted by them to be killed by humans. Plugin was just in place to make more people come and get some nice rewards. It was intended to show that Omicron NU and the Pandora's Box Humans have opened are meant to be, well, UNTAMED and the NPCs achieved just that.
We were counting on criticisms, and an event like this won't happen for a long time, certainly not organized by us for at least a year by the very minimum - it was meant to be a unique chaotic experience, and we hope you appreciate efforts of us and those who assisted, you can count on any events we organize in the future to be very different from this one of a kind one

This was a good test for any official events staff wants to run - the chaos of Omicron Nu where you don't know who does what was the premise - these are certainly very good pointers, this format hasn't been tried before as far as we know, maybe whoever will try it in the future can perfect it, it certainly won't be us, at least not in the next year(s) to come !
We will focus on much smaller-scale niche unique events and casual raids with added forum RP fluff in the foreseeable future.
The event was fun and entertaining, Gave me cod tdm vibes, which is a unique experience in FL, especially since we had decent numbers.

AMAZING! It was super fun! I had a blast from the first shot all the way up to the massive Nomad cruiser showed up! I couldn't survive those alien torpedoes so I didn't see the end, but I hope we put it down eventually!
Thanks a lot to all the people that worked hard to set this up! It was an awesome chaotic mess and I loved it! I really hope we get to see more events like this in the future. SOOO FUN Thanks again everybody!
