I developed the new PRS you see today during my two years of leading LPI while it was still official. Its main use was to allow us the ability to still dole out fines and even FR5 while not even being in game. With LPI- not being official anymore we cant FR5 ships who have multiple (legit) reports against them.
The system now is just meant for RP fluff on the forums. I will update it every now and again but as time goes on Discovery changes with it. This new era of long standing official factions losing their status is growing. Players are now realizing more than ever that being official means nothings.
Now I would do anything to get LPI- official again but is being official that much different than being unofficial? Not really.

Yeah maybe the mention in the laws can be just replaced with "contact law enforcement via the communication channel with evidence"
- there still are lawful OFs and corps in Liberty that can FR5, which would create even more RP rather than it being dumped in a thread nothing has been done with for 1.5+ years. Or just modify the thread so all lawful OFs can reply/FR5 and such.
And it's pretty funny - Navy has more or less no benefit from officialdom, police does with nodock and FR5 useful the most to them. But there's way too much overlap between Navy and Police IDs with Navy a lot more powerful, kinda sucks no police faction held onto theirs when Navies still did. And unlike gallia there will be no merger (I will ignore the bizzare new Gendarmerie ID nobody wanted, asked for or ever used) because of how distinct LPI is from Navy. Might as well adapt.
how about if you want to catch criminals you do it by logging into the game and contributing by playing a law enforcement character rather than forumlancing your way to an FR5

Totally agree to that. This is just another "feedback" by Lemon, who has own interests and agenda to fulfill. Granted, the whole thing is outdated, because general Disco activity is nothing like it used to be and such trivial forum RP is meaningless with renaming, ID swap or general cheapness of remaking new char.

We're receiving requests OORP to participate/write RP for the POB event by the admin team. However officially, and would appreciate a reply from the Lib Government ignoring the POB building as we were never consulted in any capacity about participation and therefor are disinterested in RPing the consequences of the POB on the administrations behalf. We would request that any reply to the thread keep in mind OORP that the admins built the POB and not expect us to actually be able to do anything about it. ( have jokingly suggested we FR1 the admin team but that's not really the LibGov's problem and should be saved for a separate dramathread)

The Zoner POB in Driftwood Fields is not an ooRP thing - it is purely an inRP matter and a development related to the outcome of an event where a number of Zoner transports successfully got there.
The communication is addressed to 'Zoner Resistance Members', i.e. Zoners who radically disagree with the occupation of planet Erie.
The Zoners are a decentralized movement and there is no unified position nor unified command. Which Zoner wants to get involved - can; which doesn't - doesn't have to.
