I'm interested to know how much money/value is safe to have on an account. Is it safe to have 7 characters on a single account, with each character's total value being below 1bill each? What about 7 chars with value 2bill each?
To elaborate, I know there is about a 2 bill credits (or credits plus ship and equipment value?) limit per char. So I don't go past that. That's fine. I even only keep 1b credits per char.
However I've heard people recommend you only use 6 out of the 7 character slots per account. Is there truth to this? I do want to use 7 characters, as I already have enough accounts as it is.
I have used 7 Characters per Account, for years, and never had any problems (touch wood).
My 'Bank' Accounts have 7 Ships per Account (Restart Ships) and each one holds 1.9 billion. Again, I have had no problems.
Once your characters start getting above a worth of 2 billion, I have noticed that they are more likely start to cause issues.
Also if the Ships on the Account have lots of items on each, then this sometimes causes issues. I restricted mine to having 70-80 items and had no problems.

Also, if you have issues logging an Account, I have noticed that if you move just on ship, this appears toresolve the issue.

The amount you can have on each character is 2.1b including ship and equipment resale value. I normally keep mine around 1.8bil just to be safe or even less and I do this on starter characters. You can have up to 7 characters per account that is the limit for each account. I personally have never had any problems with it.
