- Not knowing the prize and keeping the prize a secret: excellent. It showed community interest and participation and It kept things clean - no ganking, shadow logging, ship hopping etc.
- Staff participation in event - even though all he did for the duration of the event was deliver cardamine , please restrict staff eligibility to rewards cause it looks like this: https://youtu.be/7C-aB09i30E?t=25
- Kudos and waiting for the next event with unknown prizes!

No. As a former dev on different game's online RP server, no. Putting your time and effort into the server and then not be allowed to actively participate as a player in fun event is the fastest way to make sure I won't put any more of my time in the server. What you want is essentialy a punishement for the devs for their good unpaid work.

Making the devs not liable for the rewards might be a compromise, but barring their entry completely is a big no - no for me.

Say... @Antonio given you said you never had a use for POBs... would you be willing to sell the one you won?
