Core-OC alliance in general isn't a problem. It's problem specifically here, because Core act not like they are intended by event design(What should they do - wait intil Corsairs or Outcasts win, jump to Theta, engage the remaining forces and wipe them out or die trying. What they do - form with Outcasts and shoot Corsairs alongside them). So it's either all of Core getting warned for this, or event objective for Core should be changed to reflect what's happening

Core OC working together is canon

The only reference is an unconfirmed allegation in a single news article in Liberty. As far as I'm aware, there isn't a single Outcast or Core infocard actually describing the alleged cooperation.

I understand why it happens from a "DTR outnumber us" perspective, but the number of ships DTR has shouldn't influence the actual mod storyline.

It's also worth noting that the Order and Corsairs aren't allies either, and haven't been for a very long time.

I am amazed that yesterday, it was outcasts complaining cause they lost, Today I still see Outcast Complaining because they won. I mean Why? I think you missed the last 3 pages of DTR members and allies claiming how OC Core alliance is wrong when it was all laid out inRP beforehand by players and devs. And how Zoners shooting Order is bad, even though Zoners were there to shoot Sairs and Order were there assisting Corsairs.

It's also worth noting that the Order and Corsairs aren't allies either, and haven't been for a very long time.

Funny you say that, you should log the game sometime, because then you could clearly see Battlegroup Revenant joining Corsairs in all sort of actions across sirius against outcasts, coalition, kusari, bretonia and God knows what else. Core-OC alliance was a natural development in the omicrons to counter this.

I'm still wondering to this day why Order is supporting corsair armadas against Bretonia, very lore accurate and humankind protection-pilled.

If Core would have logged Outcasts instead, it wouldn't have changed anything. The numbers are still the same. Similarly, if Order would have logged Corsairs instead, Corsairs would still have lost today. Don't get artificially upset about what IDs are shooting you.

It's the Omicrons. It will always be about people making alliances for the sake of PvP.
