Yesterday's run to Omicron Delta to pick up supplies from the Zoners was not a smooth one, although successful. The trip to the freeport was all but eventful. As I undocked with the supplies lieutenants Harper and Shocker came under attack by a blood Dragon gunboat and his escort, a Guardian.
Nearing the gunboat's fall from the combined firepower of our three fighters, an order pilot jumped in to assist them. With all guns pointed on me I went evasive taking potshots at the blood dragon vessel. Eventually its hull cracked under our combined fire and it exploded.
Shocker and Harper proceeded to tag-team the guardian, while I danced privately with the order pilot. It wasn't long before the fighter fell to their teamwork and the Order pilot fled into the safe arms of the Corsairs, who allowed us to retreat home without hostile action.
All equipment was transfered safely to Liberty Navy stock armories. Also I believe promotions are in order.
Although Harper has not been with us long, he has shown dedication and competence above most in our navy, and is hereby promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
Shocker who has shown equal dedication, and having been with us for a while, I feel has been overlooked. He's also hereby promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
Lastly upon the orders of Admiral John Talon, for loyalty, being an outstanding and model officer, while keeping a cool head in the face of danger, Seth Karlo is hereby promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

Today, the Xenos launched one of their largest offensives in a long time. Incredibly, they had even brought a gunboat, though how the Xenos managed the get a hold of one is beyond me.
The fight begun with a report of Xenos near Norfolk. Nearing the fight, it was clear there were 4 hostile Xenos, one of them a gunboat.
Copperhead was the first Xeno to fall, but by then 2 navy ships were destroyed, though luckily the escape pods were retrieved. Shortly before the destruction of Copperhead's ship, another Xenos arrived on the scene, making a total of 5 Xenos, in addition to a rogue that was watching nearby.
The stalemate quickly crumbled after the destruction of the Xeno gunboat, Prospector. Sadly, the AI controlled Hoshinokatana Huntress Cruiser was also destroyed, though a backup of the AI was stored at Norfolk, where construction began on a replacement.
In addition, several other Zoners also fought agaisnt the Xeno, as well as a Junker. Though the help was unexpected, it was never less much appreciated.
Though it was a costly victory, it was a victory for Liberty.

Subject: HF Invasion
Launching today I immediatley encountered a HF Raisu near the Missouri, I engaged him and not long HF Moore was on the scene. A Bounty Hunter BS showed up and lay fire on the HF fighters. The HF had called support and I was then faced with 2 HF battleships, shortly afterwrds another HF fighter and 2 Rogue Gunboats. The firepower levled against us was overwhelming and eventually I fell to enemy fire.
I must question where our fleet was during this encounter?
