From: Kevin Shaw, CEO, Ageira Technologies
Subject: Westerfield Shipyard: Local Introduction
Date: November 1, 828 AS

Local Neighbors & Fellow Businesspersons,

We have been busy constructing a new Shipyard in the Newcastle system with the kind permission of the Bretonian Authorities and are very happy to report that in what we believe to be record time, the Wethersfield Shipyard in near orbit of Planet Carlisle is nearing completion and preparing to begin construction of ship's modules and soon, the Longhorn Frigate.

Why Bretonia? we have been asked. The answer is a simple matter of logistics.
With Ageira's technical proficiencies specializing in the manufacture of Avionics and Interiors systems, the supplies availability in Bretonia generally, and the Newcastle system specifically, favor the creation of Interior system there while that of Liberty favors Avionics.
Having a base able to concentrate on each is more efficient and allows modules to be amassed more quickly for ship building.

Obviously, additional modules will also be required. Some of which our Bretonian neighbors have a high proficiency in producing. Other additional equipments needed beyond these will require interface with other groups with more diverse specializations.

We intend that the production of the Longhorn Frigate, being a ship of potentially wide application in the market, will be our primary focus, with the importation of the additional modules needed from other manufacturers. It is our hope that a dynamic interchange can be forged enabling us all to achieve the highest possible success.

As such, we invite our neighbors and other ship systems manufacturers to contact this office with proposals regarding possible cooperation in modules supply chain logistics.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Kevin Shaw
Chief Executive Officer
