However, your lack of operational and historical experience will require direct oversight over your success in the ranks of the Rheinwehr. Fly your designated patrols, respond to emergency calls for assistance, and participate in fleet exercises, and your continued status within the Rheinwehr is all but assured.

Grossadmiral Henze has assigned me the responsibility for your conduct and advancement while on probation. Members of the fleet are available to provide training in these fields when away from their primary duties. You may request such training in the proper communication hubs as desired. It is the opinion of the Admiralty that you take this as needed, as it will greatly improve your performance in the field.

► Brief biography: Born in a sprawl in New Berlin, she always looked up to her space faring father. The man eventually went missing deep in the Omegas. Her now single mother became very frugal with the family money. She was an obedient child, but always envied those above her, fostering vague ambitions, until a lucky break with Imperial Shipping landed her a cargo hauler commission. After a month of more or less mediocre accomplishments in hauling, the ship was intercepted in Galileo by a Liberty Rogue. After paying fines for the damages sustained, inquiry and her direct superior observed her attitude would be more suited for combat ships, and sent her to the Rheinland Military for evaluation and enlistment. Without any other option and patriotic motivation to boot, she arrived at the recruitment center before any other personnel were on site, starry eyed and penniless.

I believe in Rheinland, its everlasting spirit of overcoming adversity, and its industrious people's strength. To defend the Fatherland is a most sacred duty, and I have received its call. I seek the structure of the armed forces and to fulfill my purpose within it as a proud Rheinlander. There is nothing else I should do.

► Are you familiarized with the current conflicts in Rheinland? Outline them: Alongside the establishment of the empire, Rheinland has fought multiple external and internal threats to a standstill. This includes chasing the Red Hessians into the Omegas, somewhat isolating the Bundschuh, and holding systems bordering Rheinland in tense balance against Houses and major corporations, until a state of neutrality was achieved. Rheinland is more friendly with Galia, conversely less with Kusari. Wounds from the war with Liberty are still scabbing, necessitating rebuilding fleet strength, which has been a good opportunity for restructuring and investing in the government's logistics instead. Corsairs are a common threat surrounding Rheinland, as are Wild, whose raids from the Omicrons are perhaps a larger threat than more domestic actors.

The primary sectors the Rheinland military would be active in would then be the Sigmas where GMG interest, unlawful incursions, and Wild all collide, as well as the Omegas where Rheinland mining corporate industry is focused. Cologne's recently rise in unlawful activity is a concern, especially with Gallic trade passing through there, and with the resurrection of the LWB as an independent force.

BDM can be an issue within the House space itself, as they have proven more autonomous than would be ideal.

Born into a military family, he was brought up in strict discipline without a hint of indulgence. After finishing school, he followed in his parents' footsteps and studied the art of war at the New Berlin Academy. After graduation he was stationed on the battleship Westfallen and participated in the Rhineland-Kusari War as a member of the Marinenachrichtendienst. After the end of hostilities in the Sigma sector, sent to serve in the Rheinwer Republic Fleet. After reaching the rank of Corvettecaptain, he was assigned to the command of the gunboat Rosenheim. At the time of the civil war between the Imperialists and the Federals, he took the side of the former, and for his services to the Empire, he was awarded the title of Niederer Adel nobility.

When the great civil war ended, he was forced to defend a national science group in the Omicron-sector, therefore he joined the MND Imperial detachment. 

After return he reunited with the Kaiserliche Rheinwer under von Thielau command, in status Fregattenkapitan and as RNC-Kaiserslautern command.

Alexander was given the territory of Reutlingen on the planet Stuttgart. Later, Mr. Von Harrisburg temporarily left the fleet due to problems in his controlled territory and took up living and settling down.

It is good of you to bid farewell to your landed life, and return the Kaiser's call once again. Much has changed over the course of your leave of absence, but a sharp mind such as yours will have no trouble bringing itself up to speed. ► Brief biography: Holger von Hörsten was born on Planet Holstein in the Frankfurt system in 812 A.S. He comes from a long line of soldiers who faithfully served the Kaiserreich — his grandfather, his father, and now himself. Growing up under the shadow of this tradition, Holger developed a deep respect for honor, duty, and the ideals of the Rheinwehr. Following in his father’s footsteps, he entered the Military Academy on New Berlin, where he studied tactics, navigation, and Rheinland military doctrine. Upon completing his training, he committed himself fully to serving his Vaterland and upholding the values passed down through his family’s generations.
