Can't blame you. Though it was a nice surprise seeing you guys around, I had a feeling it wouldn't last. Not due to hypothetical poor integrity or lack of motivation, but rather because the Core is one of the most development-shafted factions today. Playing as a Core faction, let alone leading one, is a thankless task.
Its sad to see Core| go. although we had a little few interactions in game / forums with you guys I enjoyed it, especially during FP9 event(though the event itself was a really bad idea).

Sad to hear. BHG Core, and later Core, was one of the few non-vanilla canon factions that stood the test of time, and managed to not only have a cool premise, but also integrate itself well with the rest of Sirius. Seeing the last remaining player faction disband is a net loss.
I think official factions should have a right to be heard in front of the story team as one of the perks of being a representative OF, regardless of the outcome, though I have to wonder why the story frustrations are coming out well over a year since 5.0's release, long after the people involved in making the story decisions you dislike (AI arc, loss of Omegas assets) have departed from the team. If anything, the current team is more than willing to talk it out, especially given that there is some Core-related story coming soon to untangle the AI mess.
I have nothing against what you typed up there, and I see that you are brave enough to say some opinion just as it is, without any decorations, without being a brown nose like some who know themselves very well. I wish you the best of luck my friend, @Implosion and we will continue the rouge company on "Elite Dangerous" and other fun games. Cheers.

i actually do agree with this ... but also looks like no one is moving to take the position!
to be honest nothing here surprises me anymore, if some have the attitudes they have in game, in real life i don't even want to know!!
by the way ... i'm surprise nobody said it ... can i have your ships? anyway ... i wish you all the best take care
Factions having an influence on their development is a two-way street. I am saying this a long time leader of a faction that has significantly influenced its course in the mod. The ALG player faction came to write their own story to such a degree not because the devs just loved us so much that they give us interesting plots all the time, but because I proactively approached them and worked with them to make what I wanted to do with the faction a reality, and ensure that it fit within the wider story.
Some factions have gotten effectively zero development since vanilla, which sure, is in part the fault of the devs not bothering with those factions, but also the fault of faction players who simply didn't care to approach them about developments they may want.
You can disregard the above if you did approach devs with ideas about your faction and they were like "no fuk u" but you do have to make an active effort, as a faction leader. It's not going to come to you automatically.
Though it's not the first time Core| has willfully disbanded, good luck out there, but please keep in mind there is still a chance to bring this faction back together.
