It was fun until the hacker ganksquad arrived.. I now regret the decision to join the event.

GG guys, was actually a great bit of pew. A bit sad that the balance changes get dropped on everyone moments before the event lol. Can't say that wasnt fun though, got to use two ships ordinarily thatd be probably gathering another thick layer of dust, so thank you for that!

The event in a nutshell, more or less. You set up Liberty and Kusari for a deathmatch in Earhart, let them exhaust each other contesting the objective, then throw the split and depleted fleets into the Kepler maze where they have to desperately clobber each other in melee while your prearranged kill squad removes everyone from the field. I mean, the combat was fun while it lasted, but what was even the point in all of this? Why pretend like this is a legitimate competition and not a rigged story beat?

Disappointing, really.

This event had good ideas but have to be honest the execution was iffy. Some of that is kinda out of control but more time could have been left for Kusari stuff to rally at least. Last two events I've been to have been escort ones and the escort part has been the weakest part of it. I think they need to go back to the drawing board and need to come back a bit more refined.

I personally think the Hacker surprise was a cool addition though.

This event was really interesting during the fight inn Earhart, and the chase through to the exit JHs, the plot twist of exiting to Kepler was cool (though there should've been a console message about that). Everything after the hacker gank squad was entirely pointless and a colossal waste of time on everyone's part.

turns out the game was rigged from the start and not for either of the participating teams. Oh well, had fun and pews. Toku good being the only BS on kusari side and wasn't just a dps sponge for the enemy. JH situation to get into earhart from kusari could have been better, thankfully I had a JD4 on hand to jump our main group. Would do again.

Frustration with the Journey of the Argonauts and SNUB Changes

Hey everyone,

I need to vent about the *Journey of the Argonauts* event and those last-minute SNUB changes. Dropping a major balance update right before the event was a terrible idea. It gave no time to adjust, and honestly, it made the fights frustrating and unbalanced.

As for the event itself, it felt chaotic and poorly paced. I was honestly regretting participation when the Lane Hackers showed up. They were the one dark spot in an otherwise fun experience.

I get that these events take effort to organize, but the timing of updates and event execution needs work. I hope this gets taken into account for the future.

I didn't care for the event substance so I'm not so sorely disappointed. The initial KNF fights were fun, the Ciphers were not. Cheers to all the Kusarians that showed up and contested until the end.

The game was rigged from the start.
My theory is that the Cipher squadron is (obviously)a very deliberate plot twist, most likely Order agents, meant to prime the plot thread of Ontario-Coronado-Newcastle(?). The outcome of neither obvious side winning is rather welcome.

Although they were some glaring organisation issues, I wasn't there at the beginning but it seems like the event started without KNF rallying up proper. It seems quite out of touch to initiate events so prematurely when every recorded instance of having to wait for players to log in has been a rather lengthy process, but necessary for the sake of everyone's fun involved.

Twitch stream of event
Featuring me making the awful call of sending everyone to fight the JG camping KNF in Galileo as LH casually flies through Colorado to Ontario uncontested.

Argonaut disappearing before we could kill it ("If we don't get it, nobody does" was my mantra since the LH ambush in Kepler and the bitching about acestacking began) was funny tho.
