Official Faction Creation Request

OORP Overview
DSE focuses on Copper & Platinum mining and refining, and supplying the bases necessary to achieve this. With the addition of shipbuilding, additional trade routes and inrp contracts are also possible as long as demand remains. Solid incentive structures are always in place to encourage players to trade with DSE bases, keeping profit margins to a minimum. On the side, we continue to scout systems for salvageable resources and potential gate & lane additions. With enough players interest and dedication, we also run trade convoys with adequate escorts. Security presence is encouraged during convoys and ops by offering relatively generous profit-based pay.

In-game chat happens INRP as much as possible, including while in a group. This has resulted in interesting discussions during mining ops and convoys that all players to further develop their characters. On the forum, anyone interested is encouraged to submit reports and communicate with contractors, and doing this is required for promotion. Players are further encouraged to think about their character more deeply via faction recruitment, reports, and in-game info vignettes. R&D-type RP is encouraged wherever possible, partly to satisfy Player Request requirements, but also to further develop the faction and its employees.

Faction members and any community member can affect the direction of the faction by becoming a shareholder. Regular votes are posed to decide about medium-broad details (e.g. what to demand from a competitor, which area to focus on next). In the future, further corporate rp is envisioned in the form of dividends. This system is always evolving, so feedback and new ideas are always welcome.

Deep Space Engineering is a Libertonian heavy industry corporation, known for their close ties with Universal Shipping and Ageira Technologies. They are best known for building and maintaining the Ageira-designed Trade Lanes and Jump Gates found throughout Sirius, as well as designing and building the bulk of the Libertonian corporate fleets.

This Liberty Corporate ID is used by employees of Deep Space Engineering, who:

- Can attack Lane Hackers.

- Cannot use Cruisers, Battlecruisers, or Battleships.

Within Zone of Influence (Liberty and bordering systems, Copernicus, Coronado, Omega-55, Vespucci):

- Can attack ships considered hostile by Liberty.

- Can attack EFL, Kishiro, and Samura ships outside of Liberty.

- Can engage in piracy against Corporate ships outside of Liberty.

With the half-way point behind us, I have updated any new and missing RP.

I should also mention that the count of fabricated ships at Susquehanna sits at over 40, including 2 barges and a bustard. Additionally, a total of 67/250 possible shares is currently held by DSE shareholders. Both of these elements involve varying degrees of RP (often very little), but I believe they provide fun additions to the community nonetheless.

Thank you for the show of support, and here's hoping I will continue to have time to further improve the faction.
