First siege was chaotic but fun, few unexpected surprises that could have been communicated beforehand: Mars being indestructable (it not being able to die in canon/ as a consequence is fine and dandy but the ship suddenly being invincible after being reduced to x % was very confusing), the pobs needing siege guns. I have no idea if this is a general change that happened and I was simply unaware but practically everyone on Order side was unaware, resulting in mid event conn transfers once we realized the issue. A small reminder would have been nice
Joined late to the siege today as AI drone for Core but it was exceptionally fun, the core AI ships seem pretty well rounded sans the seemingly low powercore on the Drone vessel.
Well that was one Mad Fun brawl murderfest. Core side was short and sweet, over before it really began. Kusari side was a hard upward struggle, but it gave very interesting situations, and opportunities. Kudos to all, a generally enjoyable series of fighting. Sad to see the Hakodate get wiped by like 30 ships lol, but it was already expected. I'll find a use for my Repairship yet though, I expect (:
PoB sieges (which is essentially what these are) have needed siege guns for as long as 5.0, likely longer before then too.
I also believe it was mentioned that Only the Hakodate was a killable battleship of the Attackers, based on the Roleplay that the Order side did on the run-up to the event. Cairo was all but abandoned to a token fighting force to defend Carthage (a no-brainer, tbh). For this, the Battleship Mars was granted immunity to death, as a result of the Roleplay.
Oh, and a souvenir from this siege. Forever Immortalised (:
