LSF logistics is severed.
The Lehigh was disabled at the cost of the Rose's operational capability, she's wounded but will live to resist, and the Peary was destroyed along with all hands onboard.
The Council has decreed that exploitation of all resources we have had a tenuous grasp on for decades may now commence in earnest. Ramsey's furnaces and refineries will hum and churn out the tools needed for life and liberty.
If there was ever a time for us to feel as if we were finally at the shores of what it means to be a country - it is now.

Alliance High Command,
I was right. The LSF had the time to further their plans of grabbing our territory for all of their "spooky" experimental nonsense, and there was only one conclusion - they would destroy us all.
Fortunately, we also had the time to prepare for such incursions, including the assets belonging to the "Unforgivable" penal unit. We mustered up what we could, including our dreadnought, the Liberty Rose, and a good pool of Hacker affiliates willing to assist us. I personally had assisted in repelling a few incursions from the LSF; one came close to Fort Ramsey, but it ended in a victory for our side. Now, this time, we had to fight, and there was no second chance should we fail to accomplish our objectives.
They had the Battlecruiser Lehigh and some kind of "repair ship", named the Robert Peary. Due to damages sustained by the last incursion, the Crimson Biter was admittedly late to the fight when it unfolded. However, we managed to disable the Lehigh and destroy the Robert Peary as it tried to escape via California, though the Liberty Rose was heavily damaged as well. My ship is heavily damaged for the time being, but our attack forced them out of Ontario, hopefully permanently. A worthy sacrifice to ensure the future of the Liberty Free Republic.
We shall not give up, as now is the time to assert our hold on our home system.

Caught a distress beacon ping from Magellan while on patrol in California. Burned over to see some of our raiders under fire from numerous LSF ships, gunships included, proceeded to engage all threats with extreme prejudice.
All hostiles were neutralized, I count one interceptor and gunship rendered no-factor by myself while others were eliminated by other pilots in the field.
They may proceed with similar probing actions across the independent worlds to save face after they were disgraced for their conduct in Ontario, and the loss of the Peary, which is to be expected. This makes them more predictable than usual and careless. Glory hounds always get themselves killed.
Advise we escalate readiness on Barrow, Leyte, Milford, and Ouray in preparation for counter-offensives. Awaiting further orders in this regard, ALL-COM.
Our victory in the battle for Ontario presents us with fresh obligations.
We have to secure claimed territory and begin a new series of infrastructure and fleet development projects, the latter of which I've already begun overseeing.
Checkpoints will need to be setup to routinely monitor traffic entering and exiting the system from the three main jump corridors.
Ontario is now the provisional capital of the LFR. Time we started acting like it is.

See for yourself what sort of neighbors we have over yonder in Inverness. Not that there was ever any doubt. I want every Phantom we have kitted out and reporting for active assignment. Serpentis and the others can remain on standby and assume defensive postures around core LFR territory. We don't yet have the means to besiege an entire system and wipe out every possible vector for further infection.
Needless to say we need to be extra vigilant now. These dispossessed despots are getting desperate enough to consort with non-humans. There can be no mistake now - we have to wipe them all out. Remember Alberta, remember what it cost us to close shut those jaws.
I'm told the 34th Brigade of the Order is mobilizing to deal with this as well, so coordinate strikes with them where possible.
I expect to hear back from all Phantom handlers within the hour.

It's one thing to give everyone in the AO tinnitus with the anthem of freedom. But it's an entirely different thing to forget that in order to make this country work that you'll have to put on a civilized face and do what needs to be done.
And since I was wrong - I am stripping you of your Adjutancy. You can return to your duties in the rank and file. This time you will stay there. I will appoint the portfolio to another, someone capable, and willing to actually conduct themselves appropriately.
