Honorable Headmaster,

I extend my greetings with the utmost respect and courtesy, as both a representative of Bretonia Mining and Fabrication (BMF) and as a man of honor who values strength, loyalty, and the bonds forged through adversity.

Allow me to introduce myself properly. I am Dylan Hunt, leader of BMF, a proud Bretonian corporation dedicated to mining as well as shipbuilding. Our work has brought us into contact with many factions, some as allies, some as adversaries, but above all, we have always sought honorable conduct and mutual respect among those who uphold similar values.

It is in this spirit of honor that I write to you today. I feel a duty to report that one among your group, a warrior by the name of Haruto.Kazuki, has distinguished himself in a manner worthy of commendation.

My first encounter with him took place in New London, where, despite standing on different grounds, we quickly came to recognize that we had more in common than we initially believed.
A friendship was forged through mutual respect, a bond that transcended simple allegiances.

In more recent times, when BMF found itself engaged in a critical battle against the Independent Miners Guild (IMG) in the Tau-23 system, Haruto.Kazuki stood beside me and my men with unwavering resolve. Without hesitation, he fought at our side, displaying bravery, skill, and an undeniable warrior’s spirit.
His heroism in the face of battle left a profound impression upon me and my people, and I would be remiss if I did not bring this to your attention.

Such courage and loyalty should not go unrecognized.
I commend him to you as a warrior worthy of honor among your ranks. Moreover, his actions have piqued my interest in your group, the True Sons of Kusari. Your group remains somewhat of a mystery to us, but if men like Haruto.Kazuki stand among you, then I am certain you are a force deserving of both respect and curiosity.

If it would please you, I would greatly value an opportunity to meet you in person, to better understand the True Sons of Kusari, and to explore the possibility of future discourse between our peoples.
There is much we could discuss, and perhaps, like with Haruto.Kazuki, we may find that we share more in common than we do in conflict.

You honor us, however I am confused as to why you would reach out to us. I am glad to hear that you have had positive interactions with our transport pilot and you give them such high praise. Haruto.Kazuki is an honorable man, but not much of a fighter hence why he only flies a transport. I will have to talk to him about this, but he brings us great honor.

As for what is going on in Tau-23, I must say I was not aware that a Bretonia corporation built an installation with in the Taus. As for IMG, we have not had much involvement with them, I will be honest we have tried to but was not successful in getting anything meaning full from them that would benefit us. I am very hesitant to have a relation with a foreign corp, especially one from Bretonia with Bretonia and Kusari government being so close in relations with one another. As you know we are labeled as a terrorist organization within Kusari space, granted nut much is really reported on our actions since Kusari does not really share information like that. But with that being said the information that Haruto.Kazuki gave you the first time you guys have met is indeed correct.

I do not have a problem setting something up that would benefit us both, but trust must be earned and it is something that I cannot just give. As far as I know you could be working as a spy for Kusari to find where are bases are so I will keep things at length with you. Please do not be offended in the words that I am saying, you must understand where I am coming from.

As for us meeting face to face, I will be okay with that, however, I will not be coming alone and we will be armed. You must understand, I must put my safety as a priority. We will look for a place where we both can meet where there will be less eyes or less of a chance of our enemies coming after us to hurt us. If that is okay with you then I will tell you where and when the meeting will be.

Again, you do honor us with your words and I have very high hopes that you can be trusted and not trying to be a spy for Kusari.

I fully understand your caution, as trust is not something to be given lightly, especially in these uncertain times.
Rest assured, I do not take offense at your words; rather, I acknowledge the necessity of such prudence in your position.
I, too, must weigh my words carefully, as any misstep in communication can bring unintended consequences.

You are correct to be skeptical of Bretonia Mining and Fabrication, for we are, at our core, a nationalized corporation.
However, governments and their policies shift like the tides, often driven by temporary convenience rather than the deeper sentiments of their people.
While Bretonia and Kusari may publicly claim closer relations, the scars of past conflicts remain fresh among those who fought and suffered through them.
Nations may sue for peace, but the people, those who bear the weight of war, do not so easily forget.

The war between Bretonia and Kusari left its mark, and one such remnant of that era is the Indochine Outpost. Once a strategic installation in the Taus, it now lies in ruin, a victim of conflict. BMF seeks to re-establish this station, not just as a monument to the past, but as a steppingstone toward a more stable and prosperous future in the region.
However, rebuilding in such a contested space requires careful navigation of the local power dynamics, both lawful and otherwise. That is where our paths, perhaps, may cross in ways that benefit both of us.

You are a man of war, just as I am a man of industry. But we both understand that survival, whether on the battlefield or in business, demands foresight and strong allies.
My reaching out to you was not an act of espionage or deception but rather a recognition of reality: the Taus are unpredictable, and those who claim to hold dominion over them do not always have the true power to enforce their will, just like BMF.
To operate here, BMF must respect those who truly shape the system—those who fight, those who endure.

I respect your decision to meet with caution, and I agree that security is paramount for both of us.
Name the time and place, and I will be there. I expect no trust from you—only the opportunity to prove my intentions through action.
If, in time, we find that our interests align, then perhaps we may come to a greater understanding.

We appreciate your understanding in our hesitation in this matter, I will talk with my council on this matter and see if we can come to an agreement on a meeting. Granted, I am the one who can make the final decision on this matter, but I must hear what my people have to say. Once we come to an agreement, I will reach out to you for when and where to meet.
