This feedback reminds me of an event with Slog. Same situation: people do a long trade, spend hours doing it, but get outraged if suddenly a pirate/representative of the law appears before their eyes (even they got a lot of moneys before that meeting).

Yes, they are not the police, but they are the only people you can go to for help. And I don't think they'll refuse to help you.

Now regarding the piracy element. This could honestly be described in a whole new thread as it touches on the inherent gameplay loop of freelancer. But to be brief: bonuses attract traders, traders attract pirates, pirates attract lawfuls. All levels of rp and pvp interaction are represented in this little chain. That is intended and welcome for every event. It is unfortunate that certain interactions do not result in fun, but anything excessive will be sanctioned, while normal "unfun" outcomes can be countered with involving your friends and/or providing security bonuses. And if you prefer to never interact with another player, I am sorry to say that this is never my intent with events.
As usual, if you have any feedback, do not hesitate to share it. But please assume that I have considered several potential interactions and decided on the final version of the event with those in mind.
Someting is wrong with event cargo. After I sell it on Verssailes Station, server kick me. Also bases are not paying the 25% extra anymore. Cargo is still registered tho

Please send me the name of your character, and where you bought the cargo from. As far as I can see, there's no issue with the event.
Just to clarify the rewards:
- Does the engine replacement have to go on the participating liner, any liner, or any ship?
- 1 contrail per ship (most have 2) or any contrails per character?
- Is there a list of contrails/visual guide?
