Honestly I cant say I like the Mort sanction. From my experience with him he has been a positive community member, he makes youtube content and organizes raids which I would also say are direct contributions to the community. He has also helped players in the community trying to learn pvp. Jumping straight to a month long ban seems harsh to me as a result. I haven't seen any evidence for the sanction yet so perhaps I shouldn't be saying anything as I dont have the full story, and I will admit I am hardly unbiased here, but I seriously doubt anything he would do would merit this.
And yet Mort has constantly made it a habit to log for a weaker side just so he can shore up their ability to take fights that have supposedly been "ace-stacked".
Admins are citing low RP interactions yet don't go after the Zoner Whales that fly through house space, drop cargo to ram into them, or give dogshit one word replies to avoid interaction at all cause.
Do people who dock at the first sign of trouble exhibit low-quality interactions as well?

This part with 1.1 look a bit strange. While Mort arent deep in rp, dont recall he had serious issues with english. But I of course have no evidences to judge.
Mort is one of the most nicest and coolest PvP dudes i've met, besides other PvP enthusiasts, he is one of the chillest and fairest dudes out in Disco. I do believe this punishment is too much, if we compare what and how much he helped new players by training with them in Conn, showing them how to use Snubs and make fights more fair by logging for the weaker sides ALMOST every time.
A lot of players just do /1 , /2 and i dont think that's something out of order tbh. Maybe take some cash out of his pocket or delete a char, but bann for a month is kind of too much imo. Sorry for interupting in this post, but i got a question to ask...
Is there any possibility for this to be reconsidered or at least discussed?

Just to snip in here with one thing, if traders are doing stupid things you can report them I just think most people dont bother as they don't really care that much, I have however reported some extreme examples myself that were dealt with in the past.

This isn't anything the same, because there isn't any interaction to take place by default. Playerlist exists and if it doesn't it would be far worse than it is now, just something to live with the upsides and downsides of.

What do you mean stupid things? They literally don't talk or respond, at all - this is VERY common - that's adding less to RP environment than someone /1/2 and needs to be punished by mass bans based on this precedens.
We now ban people for

What is worse than silently traders not even giving interactions or giving one word replies?
I can't comment on people who opt to just stay silent and die, presumably that is the balance in play there, but I don't have anything on that myself.
I would say however there is a difference between forcing interactions on people and when people are just responding to something on a personal level. But I don't know the content or context of what you are trying to compare them to to say there either.
This seems like a waaaaay too heavy-handed sanction. By that logic, several other people I won't be pointing fingers at may be severely punsihed as well yet it does not happen - and again, the very convenient 1.0 is in play which seems to be almost universally applicable with the right context. And that is beside the fact on numerous occassions, Mort has actually joined the weaker side to try and even the odds.
Reflect on the necessity of this, and loosen it up a little. Or a lot, actually - it's hardly worth a month long ban.

If we are up to this point of banning someone just because they have optics and people are pissed off enough to report them but turn a blind eye to silent traders, spiteful pirated traders, and people who stare at the player list to log off at the first sign off a name they know is going to intercept them, then all you're fostering is a community that absolutely has to report any and every incident that will once again take an insane amount of time for staff to process.
I don't know, because I don't really know the details of this sanction to have any line of comparison.
However, I don't really see a comparison drawn to people who logoff the playerlist as I mentioned before, and people who have been stupid, such as destroying their own cargo by ramming it, can and do get dealt with if it's reported.
