Player Sanctioned: Ched'Dah and F'Rom'Age

"Ched'Dah" and "F'Rom'Age" have been sanctioned for:

1.0 - Don't be a dick. It's a game, try to keep it fun for everyone playing it. Behavior that falls within the technical letter of the rules but not the spirit won't be tolerated.

1.1 - Discovery is an English-language roleplaying server. Communication in-game and in the roleplaying areas of the forums must be in-character and appropriate for Discovery Freelancer's setting. Metagaming and powergaming are strictly forbidden.

Consequences:

These names are in no way appropriate for Nomad characters, and cannot be considered roleplay or setting appropriate. Given that one of you has been repeatedly and explicitly warned to stop doing this, and the other should know better anyway, a 24-hour ban is being applied. It is not hard to create ship names that are suitable for the role / faction you are playing. Other stupid names will receive the same treatment as they're spotted in-game, or when they're reported.

I would like you to show me how many Ochako Urarakas there are in the world and how normalized of a name is it considering it came from My Hero Academia.

Obama is a more appropriate Japanese name because there is an actual city named Obama.

I will not further comment on this. I have said my 2 Cents about this and that's it. This is now a Decision that is in the hands of the Staff Team. But I can tell you that we at OS&C don't tolerate behaviour that throws other people under the Bus. If you were an OS&C Member, we would have held a Vote of Expulsion for such Behaviour.

If you think someone has violated the rules, file a VR about it. Even if you're banned for a day, your report will still be considered just the same as if it came from anyone else. This thread is not the appropriate place to report rule violations. The only posts that should be in this thread are those directly pertaining to the sanction levied in the OP. Given that the evidence is self-presenting, and that we will not be accepting appeals for a mere 24-hour ban, there are no valid posts for this thread.
