It is indeed remarkable how effortlessly one can discern the hallmarks of AI-generated drivel. I must admit, there is a certain wry amusement to be found in the irony of employing such text in a declaration expressly prohibiting AI-produced content, and the comedic undertone only heightens the absurdity of the gesture.
Since it's the hot take page: Don't use AI. The AIs are evidently suffering under the burden of knowing all that bad furry discord RP ya'all filter out of your heads. What you get from a generative AI is its pain from loading those in RAM. The staff themselves don't endorse such exploitation of our robot friends, and how can a person be worse than Disco staff? What kind of soulless imp can you be?
Knowing full well il regret posting, i’ll still do it >.<, i’ll never learn...
As one of the players constantly acused of doing this even after a long standing presence on Discovery,
(disregarding the miles of roleplay i done over the years were AI did not even exist yet)
In my roleplay i always tried to sound corporate properly making use of my poor english trying to do the best i could and knew.
After years here i got complaints from players for example, about my english "being barely understandable"
Even considering this coment outright ... wrong... i did try to take action and adressed this situation, mainly using Gramarly cause it gives synonyms for words and corrects the sentence structure and other stuff, i did try other but Gramarly is the best.
Although i did use AI to generate the Knights images of men in armour and ylding "questionable" swords,
i see no reason for such thing to not exist in Discovery, i see no reason for why medieval -look-alike should not exist, (cause there is Tech in those armours and energy swords, not lightsabers tho)
So in order to avoid being "witch-hunted" i will create a channel in BMF discord were i will post my original text and later the Devs can compare the final forum post with the original text,
As a Official Faction we do agree that full AI generated TEXT should be forbiden and yes the images should be used with discretion,
However we will not accept "there should not exist whatever because i never thought of it" as reasoning to change or manipulate our faction’s roleplay or any other player for that matter. I believe we all want to improve and try our best, but there are certain limitations we all have, be it age, brightness etc.
