I am Doidld Tyatsmr. I am a Junker who operates in the Omicrons, and I tend to be at the head of larger gatherings of Junkers in the Omicrons as well. I hail from Tarancon Base, which was lost due to the action, or should I say "inaction", of the Order. I am a business man, and I come to you with a simple business proposition.

Over the past few weeks, the Dons had an interest in the Xeno Relic trade. These are, of course, the specialty of groups that are very much not Outcasts, yes? Neither the Corsairs nor the Core would feel like seeing transport manifests that end at Malta, and I am sure that Malta would dislike seeing their want of alien trinkets funding Crete or Nauru in their escapades as well. To that end, I have sourced the Relics delivered to your doorstep entirely from liberation from involved traders. I hope this clarifies the respect that I keep in my business. Attached will be some transcripts from those traders in the event you feel the need to investigate me.

On that note, I approach you with an economic need of my own which you very much have the supply to alleviate. In the course of attempting to create a new base from which the remnants of Tarancon can operate, I obtained some wreckage from my comrades at Trafalgar Base in Bretonia. When I got it, it was little more than shredded and shot-to-pieces metal with some internal framework intact. Using the remains of Tarancon Base and a modular base, I rebuilt the ship into something resembling its former glory. However, slapping pieces together in space is a very different result from using a bonafide drydock. After some initial testing, it's come to my attention that such problems cannot be overlooked.

So, in good faith, I simply would like to discuss the price of renting a drydock. I can provide my own workers, my own materials, so on and so forth. I simply require the tools of the trade."

We could work out some arrangements.

How large is your vessel that you require a drydock to service it? I would like to know what we will be working beforehand. There are alternative arrangements other than a fully fledged drydock which could be used to service most vessels, but again I am unaware of how large your spacecraft is. Do inform me whether it is only a portion of your ship which needs a refit or the entirety of it.

I would also like to know how extensive of a refit you will need, and by extension the length of this endeavour. Specifics are not necessary, just a general estimation before I can calculate what such an arrangement might cost.

The ship itself is a Battlecruiser. It has a little more vertical height to it than the Hasta, but I do not believe enough to cause problems. While technically all that needs doing is some finer details regarding the outer hull and inner frame connections, a full once-over to find defects and problems would make it all that much stronger. And, with some additional time, I would like to also get a chance to, let's say, fiddle with some weaponry I have for it.

In total, the outer and inner frames and armor, more specifically, it's connections and the joints between, is what is necessary. Optionally, I would also like to perform a full quality check, and obtain some in-depth scans of heavy weaponry, though I doubt I'll be able to make any use of them immediately. Doing only what is necessary, I expect to be done in two weeks or less. Doing all that I would like to do, maybe three or four weeks.

How did an independent Junker get their hands on a Battlecruiser? Nevermind.

That makes your plight a little more... understandable. I would like to know what model of Battlecruiser your vessel is, so we can get the proper size for a drydock. Most of our drydocks are designed for producing smaller or more flat ships, such as the Storta or Hasta, en masse. A more... vertically rounded warship might need to be serviced within a bay for our Sarissa class vessels, whose frame would be much closer.

The time frame you propose will not be an issue.

I will coordinate with the engineers on Corsica to see what arrangements can be made. I will relay their information to you.

"For your purposes, consider it a Coalition Hurricane. It is very much a "Ship of Theseus" question, however. Very little of the original ship actually remains. It seems to have been a casualty of the constant warfare between the Coalition and Bretonia, which my compatriots aboard Trafalgar picked over for what was easily obtainable.

I found myself in need of a new base of operations for both myself and the other Junkers that frequent the Omicrons. Freeport 11 can only provide so much, after all. For a few months, we used a modular station with a smelter to recycle the remains of Tarancon Base and the battlecruiser's wreckage into new plating and materials. The constant Nomad onslaught that was enabled by the retreat of Thebes cost us too much to continue operations, as it had cost us Tarancon before. The progress was completed, nonetheless. The ship can move, and, while dubious, it maintains its seal in the vacuum of space.

As fate would have it, the Hurricane is a more vertically rounded ship. Perhaps a larger space will be needed, after all. "

I have received word from Corsica.

The capital dockyard C-2 will become available for use sometime within the next few days. It is intended for large capital warships exceeding the height or mass of our Hasta battlecruisers, which, in your case, should give you ample space for your operation.

The cost of renting the C-2 hangar was estimated to be 7000 credits a week. That will provide you with the space itself as well as any machinery attached to the bay. There are some robotic cranes, arms, et cetera at your disposal within the hangar if you desire to use them. Of course, excessive wear and tear may add additional costs, but I don't believe you have any plans to abuse the machines too hard, correct?

Your ship will need to be escorted to and from Corsica Shipyard. I will let the border guards know to expect you. Any materials brought from outside of Omicron Alpha will, of course, need to be declared and logged before you enter the shipyard, as well as any times you plan to leave and re-enter the system. This is merely for security purposes.

Should you be interested, let me know and I will reserve the dock for you.

I will let the border guards know to expect you. They will bring you to Corsica and will get you situated - where to dock, who to ask, so on. The Shipyard itself is somewhat of a small city in its own right, so there will be recreational spaces and suitable living conditions for your crew.

The C-2 Engineering Director will be among the list of names you are given when you enter. Feel free to ask him should you need assistance for anything. All drydocks are monitored - standard security protocol - so do not be alarmed at any guards making occasional checks.
