The samples need to be positive with the residual energy emission for my experiments. So utmost care must be warranted.
Would it be possible to get someone of our own to fetch these? Or must I loophole the system once more?
I have a series of procurements that I have to do for several projects, and one will include a mining operation in the depths of uncharted space to some extent.
And about your alien structure studies. I am aware of what the relics can do, harvesting their energy fields altogether. No doubt you have an interesting "quest" about these, but is it really wise?

We don't need his approval. The purpose of this is to further understand the anatomy of the gates, to further understand how they interact with Hyperspace. How we can see and possibly prevent any blackout incidents by understanding how it happens, how it works. If it even happens.
There's always a chance the locals get hurt... Who cares about them. You and I both know Crayter does not care for us. They betrayed us five times. And even if terrible things happens, it'd be pressure on our enemies. Leviathan seems to think it could harm. I disagree. But he is assisting me too after I told him more.
Risks have to be taken. Or we will never progress.
And I will progress, whether you approve or not. So, are you going to be a hinderance, or are you going to help me do this more smoothly?
My concern is not necessarily to the Crayterians and what they will or will not be able to handle if something overwhelming can pour from the gate.
My concerns is to our safety. If the Republic falls without a chance or they are severely hampered by... whatever might happen from the consequence of meddling with the gate, we can be next. I do not oppose progress, but it's too close to home, In my opinion and I can't just.. go with it like that.

If this site would've been located in the far reaches of the Sector, I couldn't care entirely of what might be coming through. Or maybe it won't, we wouldn't know. But it's too close to us. I hold sincere doubts it can leak over to our homeland, and even then... We have the flexibility. Don't forget, Bretonia and Kusari are also involved with Crayter. But to be expected, bureaucracy slowing us down again.
Then so be it, I will have to be flexible to get this data.
