Right, doon tae business. Ordinarily, a ship request o’ this size might nip at our neutrality—but a barge is a civilian hull, which should soothe even the staunchest Livadians.
As luck would have it, a colony-ship build was just cancelled, so there’s a full dry-dock open at yer disposal.
Now, it won’t be free, as ye’d expect. I’ve spoken wi’ a few Livadians, an’ I think we can strike a tidy deal. We’ve seen Zoner militants flyin’ some rather bonnie hulls—usually sourced off the black market—but we’ve had nae luck gettin’ our hands on the schematics.
Our ships are stout on defence, but they lack that aggressive edge you Rheinlanders ken so well. A peek at those designs would teach our engineers a new way o’ thinkin’.

So here’s my offer: use yer black-market connections tae procure the schematics for those vessels, an’ in return we’ll lay down yer barge free of charge. How does that strike ye?

I'm glad my ears are used to Molly's speech; otherwise, I would need a translator for half the message you sent, although that accent is still a headache, no insult intended.

I would have hoped your request was more financial in nature, but far be it from me to refuse. You have earned the Colonel's and our men's respect on the battlefield. The schematics you ask for are our design in the first place, but I think the problem will lie in the construction itself. Even with the blueprints at hand, you will still need specialized components and manufacturing expertise from our end, and I truly mean it when I say we have had enough foreign presence in the Giftnebel already.

So, we will provide you with one of each ship you requested: the Grendel frigate and a Hel cruiser, with the old Asgard line in its bays, together with one of our chief Shipwrights. He will oversee and aid you in constructing the ships.

You can start working on the barge. The ships will be sent to Livadia once they are ready on our side.

Still on its way. I could bore ye tae death wi’ the latest yard report, but I’ll keep it brief. The useful bits are finished an’ hummin’—reactor, livin’ quarters, the lot.
Next up is the cargo spine: thirteen great cylinders tae forge an’ assemble. That’ll take a week or two.

She should be ready right about when yer deliverables land.

Och, I’ve come wi’ a bit o’ news.

On our current project, we’re near completion. All the storage modules are in; we just need tae weld ’em in proper.

Now, a new matter’s arisen. We’ve established a base in the Omegas, and since we’re neighbours now, it’s only right tae keep ye in the loop.
We’ve set it up in Omega-55, near the Junker depot. We’ve already seen some o’ yer pilots keepin’ the lanes tidy—fine work. We’ve no wish tae step on yer toes there.

The station will grow into a heavy industrial and research hub for the deep Omegas. These new systems have our folk fair abuzz wi’ exploration, so we leaned into it.
With the Erie crisis still simmerin’, we’ve more news hands than Kadesh can comfortably house, so this expansion’s a much-needed breath o’ fresh air.

It’s a gamble, aye—but what’s life in Sirius without a few gambles? The alternative’s a life o’ servitude under some House megacorp, an’ that’s no’ for us.

Herr, as you might have observed, we Hessians don’t conduct ourselves with masked threats and name them treaties. We make our threats direct and clear.

Now, here’s where we stand: the protection consists of armed aid should your station come under attack, as long as Corsair foot doesn’t step on it. We have an undisclosed launch point in Omega-55, so don’t worry about the response time.

The fee for the protection will be material in nature. You will deliver certain commodities to our Diamant Station in Omega-11. The station is adjacent to Freital, in sector 5G. We lack the connections to acquire them in bulk, but I’m sure you Zoners have it all figured out.
