Greetings, my name is Anatoly Karimov-Tursunaliyev. I was born in the year 801 on Planet Jiangxi. I spent most of my years as a janitor on the Coalition mining vessel Tunguska. Being a lower ranking crew member, my wellbeing was not considered a high priority. Around eight months ago during a resupply stop at Freeport 1, I decided that I had spent enough time cleaning toilets and radioactive vomit without adequate hazard pay, so I put in my notice. With my life savings in hand, I was able to seek medical attention at Planet New London to get the tumor removed and have a cybernetic eye installed. It's time for me to get back to work - some friends I made at Freeport 1 recommended I seek out Phoenix since you are looking for hardy individuals. Jeremiah Hobbs - Application

To the people of Phoenix, my name is Jerry Hobbs, captain of a Whale with more holes than sense. I have seen your lot sailing past through the fields of the Omicrons and I would like to request to join your ranks.

But of course, a tale of my life, shortened for your convenience. I'll start by saying, I'm not exactly sure where I'm from. Bretonia presumably, but the amount of bouncing around Freeports I did as a small boy has left me somewhat unsure. The only other two people to ask, my parents, are long gone. Not by some tragic tale, their bodies were simply worn out from years of toil. They had me late, the time I got with them was short compared to others.

As a lad I was gifted a small freighter, nothing fancy, it allowed me to get a feeling for bartering, roaming around on my lonesome finding the best deal and making a name for myself. I got quite efficient at making credits, by gambling or trading, you decide. Worked my way up the social tiers as it were, when money comes flowing, so do friends. Or so I thought. Stabbed in the back I was, not literally but it has been close a few times. I'm sad to say I lost it all, my ships, my credits, my so called friends... Everything.

Ended up back on my parent's Whale, they were happy to have me, but it wasn't the life I wanted for myself. I was comfortable though, so I stayed. Stayed through my father's sickness, too many runs through 41 claimed him. And my mother, oh, she died of a broken heart not long after he did. At least I say that, sounds more romantic. Really they were just too old, time claimed two more victims.

The only positive I got out of it was my hunk o' junk, the mighty Whale. Like I said, more holes than sense. Not sure if I mean the captain or the ship. But she's a faithful one, always seen me out of a pinch. That's just it though, it's just me and her. Yeah I have a small crew from time to time, that's rare. It's lonely out hear in the silence of the galaxy. I'd like to live life again, not simply exist to fade away one day. Which is why I'd like to join your lot. They seem like good folk.

While I'm wary to outstretch a hand in good faith, I'd gladly do it for you lot.

We still run ours, but only on safer routes. For the rougher work we’ve shifted tae the Bulwark, an excellent hull, and here’s hopin’ the Livadians one day upgrade our Whales tae Bulwark standards.

Where do you came from?
I'm a ex Blood Dragon medic, that used to serve on capital ships to treat wounded soldiers and civilians, i left the blood dragons after their war goes on forever and killing to many that i can handle, I want to find a new purpose: a clan that want to fight for peace and discovering new worlds, not wars and conquering.

Why would you like to join Phoenix?
I have a capital ship which is use for medical and biological research purposes, i know that the Order and Phoenix are on good terms and want to add my imput on the Phoenix researches and your values is more in adequation to my new objectives, i also heard that a former Kusarian is also part of your Group.

… Couple month ago, i escaped the gallic space after being trapped by corrupted members of the national authority.
While i was wandering Tau’s systems to find a place to hide, i got captured by the Crayters. Then unfortunatly, the vessel i was in, got attacked by uninditified spacefighters that killed every crayters guards and raptured all the others. (i recently discovered there was related to the nomad scums and projected to insert alien probes into our bodies … ewww). I was at the bottom of the bottom, wishing for the quick embrace of death …

Few days after, as i was contemplating my own misery, a loud noise of an outside explosion bring me out of my torpor. Then in a matter of seconds, i saw someone bursting into the cell-room, shotting and tearing off every guard on sight. As i begin to undrestand the situation, my cell opened, i saw this hand above my head ccompagnied with a deep voice “Come with me if you want to live”). This guy took me on is back, runned back, fighting every encounter, fighting for his life, fighting for MY LIFE ! He managed to escape without a single wound, me included. Nobody except this one, has ever helped me in my life ; I would never forget that.

Since then, i have found refuge on Freeport 10, but i still have a debt to pay off, my savior deserve it.
Sadly, the research of this man ended up with a “Missing in Action” … bless his soul.

I am here to pay a debt, a bloody LIFE debt.

Ask me anything and i would be there.
Certainty of death or small chance of success aren’t a turn down but a motivation.
