Some of you may already know of us, most likely do not, so allow me to introduce myself. I am Jonathan Cayran, representative of Phoenix.
Phoenix is a Zoner organization operating on the far side of Sirius. Unlike many of our brethren, the dangers of the Omicrons and the deep Omegas have pushed us toward a policy of armored neutrality: we trade, we keep our doors open, but we do not remain defenseless. When the Corsairs seized Freeport 9 through bloodshed, we were forced to take up arms to protect our people and our rights. We also share a certain disdain for Bretonian authority after their attempt to seize Gran Canaria, and for Liberty following the Pennsylvania takeover and its heavy-handed oppression.
Which brings me to why I’m contacting you today. Following contact with two officers of the [GN], we were offered the opportunity to bring our iridium to the Gallic market, and were escorted to Abbeville. As Phoenix seeks to expand trade partnerships with organizations that treat our people with respect, this exchange caught our attention. Especially as Gallia has never moved against the Zoners, and your officers treated our crews with professionalism and courtesy.
In exchange for a Languedoc transit license—and, later, authorization to export Gallian cryocubes—we can offer access to deep-fringe resources under our control, namely iridium and osmium, as well as select exotic equipment and weapons developed through our osmium-based research. Or, should you prefer, more conventional commodities sourced from across Sirius.
For references, you may contact Rheinland; we maintain a long-standing partnership across several fields. We can also point to a successful working endeavour with GMS.
If Gallia is open to this arrangement, I would be pleased to discuss terms and any compliance requirements you may impose.

Bonjour Monsieur Cayran,
While Gallia tends to not look favorably on Zoners in our space, this is usually because they bring nothing of value into our house. As your organization is actually offering to bring valuable goods to Gallia, and will be purchasing goods from Gallia in return, we see no outstanding reason to deny your request. That being said, it would be wise for your people to make sure that they keep themselves well within the law while in Gallic space.
