I don't know what happened between .76 and .77, but the lag is horrable. I'm sorry, but it's getting to the point where i'm considering taking a break from Freelancer untill we can figure out what the problem was.
Just so you know, i'm not flaming anyone, i'm not trying to get anyone mad, and i'm not saying I don't appreciate all the things Igiss has done for us. It's just that the lag, for me, is unbearable.
I hate to leave like this. Three of my characters are sitting there, fully ready to go and with interesting stuff happening around them, while at the same time trying to get the KSP started up, and setting up another suprise (Not telling!). *sigh*
Well, keep me posted on the goings on and if the problem, whatever it is, is fixed.

Some of the things that may be causing lag are the site ranges (now increased). Might be the increase in the amount of updated ships. Just some ideas...
I am definetely thinkin' that the problems are from connection and trace issues and have nothing to do with the mod features because :
1) - The connection was laggin' even before the beta was released
2) - And because servers with much bigger and complicated mods are runnin well -Freeworlds , Evollution etc....
So for a bottom line i suppose that there is a problem with the network and , for the sad part of it , I don't have any idea how this can be managed if , lets say , there is an internacional cable leading the info to/from Russia and it is damaged or cut off.

The problem (im almost sure of it) must be the server connection is overwhelmed. Because the forums takes longer to load too. Also, downloading the mod takes a lot more time than before (it goes arround 4-7 KB/s)
Once the server is back (supposing it is still laggy) i will take a look to it to see what the prolem could be...

Yes it is loading pages slower and the downloading i have 10 kb :D instead of 4. so some of this be becuase of your connection to the interent but it is also getting slower for me to just not as much.
4KB is the download speed i have when downloading the mod (since the lag began)
When i downloaded 4.76, the speed was 86 KB/s.
No, it's not my connection. I have a network auditting program running here. So far, there is no record referring bandwidth problems since 5 weeks ago.
