My name is Roman Scott, I am a researcher currently commanding the Zoner Cruiser SV-Endeavor. I was born on Erie in the Pennsylvania system and commanded a Liberty Navy battlecruiser during the war with Rheinland. Once the war ended I decided to pursue my passion for stellar research and xenobiology. Currently our research is focused in the deep Omega's and in the Omicron systems. My crew and I have been operating independently for many years but as the systems become more dangerous it is clear that our current ship and lack of support has become too risky to continue our mission.
I have encountered several convoys of Phoenix ships and have found the captain's to be very capable and friendly. I have also been very impressed with the Bulwark vessels that they have been piloting and feel like this ship would fit our needs for a sturdy and capable ship to continue our research activities.
I believe it is time for my crew and I to come in out of the cold and join and organization such as yours.
I look forward to further communication with your representatives.
Hailin’ frae Erie, aye? We’ve a fair few ex-Pennsylvanians here in Phoenix, an’ plenty o’ them still hold a grudge against Liberty an’ its navy, but that’ll suit just fine.
So, ye’ve been explorin’ the ’Crons an’ the deep Omegas? Perfect timin’, that—we’re currently deeply involved in those territories. Ye’ll have a lot tae share wi’ our scientists an’ explorers, an’ if all goes well, ye might even earn yersel’ a personal Bulwark!
Set sail for Kadesh. We’ll brief ye there. Welcome aboard!
My name is Edison Velder, born and raised on Freeport 11, in the often harsh yet formative regions of Omicron Delta. Growing up far from the major houses taught me early on to rely on myself, to respect those who live on the fringe, and to survive through cooperation rather than laws imposed from the inner systems.
I have recently acquired my first mining vessel. It represents an important step for me: becoming truly useful, self-sufficient, and ready to commit myself to a shared future.
The Phoenix group is no unknown name to me. Your reputation among Zoners, your cohesion, and your way of forging your own path have always inspired me. For a long time, I have admired your ability to thrive where many see only emptiness and danger.
By joining you, I do not seek merely protection or commercial opportunities. Above all, I wish to learn, to gain experience, and to discover new things alongside people who share the same values of independence and solidarity.
If given the opportunity, I am ready to prove myself, to listen to those more experienced, and to contribute, in my own way, to the success of the group.
Born at Freeport 11, ye say? Och, that station’s really that auld already… I mind seein’ it built twenty-six years ago. Time flies, doesn’t it?
Anyhow, yer mining ship’ll be put tae guid use. Iridium’s one o’ the reasons we enjoy this level o’ freedom in the first place.
An’ as for yer thirst tae learn, Phoenix has work in a dozen fields; it’ll more than satisfy yer hunger for knowledge.
Set a course for Kadesh in Zeta, an’ we’ll introduce ye tae the group!
