Originally known as the "Seliger", this destroyer suffered heavy damage from Corsair forces. Hiding in the Deep Omega systems, the ship's crew attempted to repair the vessel. However, the resources seized from the Corsairs concealed an alien lifeform. In the ensuing incident, the destroyer was further damaged, and most of its crew perished.
Upon detecting the distress signal, the Platform expeditionary team, consisting of Crimson Veil, Civil Servant, and Chevalier, boarded the ship and, after neutralizing the threat, tracked the shuttle carrying the few survivors. They were given the option to return to the Coalition, but some chose to remain to participate in the destroyer's recovery and subsequent service on it.
Transferred to the command of Crimson Veil, the ship underwent significant modification, which continues to this day. The vessel's hull was infused with an organic material, intertwining flesh and metal, allowing CV to sense and control it as if it were part of her own body. A certain biomaterial is constantly fed into the ship's ventilation system. It has no effect during short-term exposure, but improves the crew's coordination and intuitive understanding of each other over long periods of exposure.
The experimental "Augur" modification stabilizes Jump-Space transitions, reducing potential risks and allowing the ship's crew to explore this space during transitions.
Manufactured by the Order, this very heavy fighter serves as Crimson Veil's primary personal vessel.
Selected as the platform for the experimental "EVENTIDE" weapon, the Anubis has undergone extensive modifications.
Mixing metal and flesh, the hull of this ship conceals a pattern reminiscent of human veins, centered on the pilot's cockpit. Allowing Crimson Veil to merge with it and experience it as part of her own body, it is also specifically tailored for compatibility with "EVENTIDE", experimental weapon created at Crimson Veil's initiative.

One of many children used by the Ageira Corporation in experiments to recreate the biotechnical capabilities of Nomads. Physical weakness, very limited ability to reproduce her own organic matter and seemingly weak psionic potential compared to the original, as well as irrational hatred and ⠠⠠⠮⠽⠀⠠⠠⠍⠁⠙⠑⠀⠠⠠⠍⠑⠀⠠⠠⠓⠁⠞⠑ aversion to Nomad organics, led Ageira to consider the experiment an overall failure. Pieces of her flesh were cut off and implanted into other children, with whom she subsequently established a semblance of a mindshare. She and these other children were rescued from Ageira's clutches by Lane Hackers. They hid them in random locations and foster homes.
Veil spent her childhood with her brother on Pittsburgh. As she grew older, her physical weakness turned into permanent illness. After losing her foster parents in a fire ⠠⠠⠓⠑⠀⠠⠠⠅⠊⠇⠇⠫⠀⠠⠠⠮⠍, Veil was completely dependent on her brother until her sixteenth birthday.
After Veil's brother's brief contact with a Nomad, her physical weakness somewhat subsided. Pursuing personal goals, she eventually met Chevalier of the Platform. The alignment of many of this organization's principles with Veil's own worldview and her desire to be closer to her beloved led Veil to join the Bundschuh.
Crimson Veil demonstrates the ability to establish psionic connections, slowly infuse particles of her DNA into various materials, and borrow the experience and skills of those connected to her.

(=)"Ashlander"
Born on the planet Volgograd, Ashlander demonstrated an interest in technology even in childhood. This led him to a career as a military engineer in the Coalition. His service eventually led him to the destroyer "Seliger", later rescued by the Platform.
During an incident with an alien lifeform, Ashlander fell under psionic control, trying his best to protect the alien, forgetting his own wounds and needs. Incapacitated by the Platform's forces, the weakened man would have had little chance of surviving. Crimson Veil took a risk by implanting her own flesh into Ashlander's body. This was partially successful: Ashlander survived and retained his mind, but requires constant artificial life support and cannot feel his own body, as well as almost entirely unable to taste anything.
Owing his life to the Platform and believing himself more useful here, Ashlander decided to join the people of Crimson Veil. His engineering skills earned him the position of chief engineer on the "Himbeersee".
