404 error when launching launcher first time

There is a slightly nicer workaround to this issue in the official discord help and support channel. The problem is an old version of DSSelfPatch.exe with a hardcoded reference to an old domain. It was recently replaced in a patch but the domain is no longer in operation. A new installer will be created soon that avoids this problem. Existing installs will need one of the two workarounds.
