Bonghjornu, ARM Command.
I am Capitaine Giulia Orsini, of the Orsini Family, part of the Diplomatic Corps of the Autonomous Region of Provence’s (AR Provence) Government.
I have been tasked by the General Staff to be the diplomatic liaison with ARM, and the Core by extension; between the Unione Corse, and ARM, to formalize, and maintain, our good relations with the ARM.
As our respective philosophy and ethos aligns somewhat; as we try to reach for neutrality, and profit as much as possible, whilst protecting our home, Provence, The Commission, and the General Staff. We believe commerce, as well as down the line, protection, and the continuation of the extension of our operations in the Omicrons, would be good for both ARM and the Unione Corse. As we strive to make Provence better: it would be also a wise way to access both markets - for us, to ease the access to the markets of the Omicrons, and for you, to access the Gallic markets.
Therefore, Principal H.S.H. Alfredo Orsini, asked me to slot in a meeting with you, in neutral grounds, close to both your areas of operations (AO) and ours; so we propose Tau-37, and the Freeport the system hosts, Freeport 10. So that we (the Unione Corse in general), can discuss what could be best for the both of our organizations.
I, on behalf of the Unione Corse, wishes you good luck in the meantime, and grazie for your time.
We look forward to your response, and forward to a future of cooperation, between ARM, and the Unione Corse, beyond borders.

This is a surprise, I wasn't expecting a net comm from the Unione Corse.
I'm no diplomat, but I'll handle the diplomacy anyway. My name is Heindrick May, but you can just call me Mr. May. Now, you want to have a "Formalization of relations, and cooperation between the Unione Corse and ARM" for the sake of trading benefits, I'm listening.
But before I take any offers, I would like to ask a question. Is this the same Unione Corse that repeatedly attacked a Zoner group known as Phoenix? Testing our patience by attacking our allies in our home isn't wise, I definitely would like an explanation to that. If you can get that sorted though, or if you already have, then maybe I'll be up to listen to whatever you have in mind to offer in terms of specific trade commodities, protection, and open access to our Omicrons.

Bonghjornu, Signore May.
First, I would like to apologize for the very long delay in my response. I have been assigned to survey and study the Southern end of Provence for a long time. While I am a Representative of the Diplomatic Corps of the Unione Corse, I am also a researcher, I assume we fill in roles we don’t have, in common.
Regarding the incidents you mentioned involving Phoenix; I understand the concern. The Unione Corse is not a monolithic entity. It is composed of several Famiglie, operating under the authority of the Commission. Therefore, certain situations can arise where actions conducted locally do not immediately reflect the broader strategic posture of the Commission.
This particular matter is currently being reviewed internally, both at the level of the possibly-involved Famiglie and the Commission itself. From the available reports, no further hostile encounters with Phoenix vessels have been brought to our attention since, and measures are being taken to ensure that the Famiglie of the Unione Corse maintains this status quo.
Furthermore, it is the firm belief, and opinion, of the Commission, that Phoenix are not considered adversaries of the Unione Corse at this time. On the contrary, The Omicrons are, and will remain, a volatile region. Therefore, predictable, and structured relations between factions serve practical interests, rather than uncontrolled confrontations. The Unione Corse seeks to avoid unnecessary conflicts that do not directly advance its strategic objectives.
The Unione Corse is fluid. Historically, centuries ago, before the existence of the Commission, there was no Commission, or any body, to make sure even between the Famiglie, that one patriarch would order its men to attack another Famiglia. Internal rivalries between Famiglie often escalated very quickly, and without any restraint. The Commission exists precisely to prevent such incidents, and to ensure that engagements, when they occur, remain deliberate rather than incidental.
Which brings me to the point that I have proposed before; bilateral access to the markets of the Omicrons, and the markets of Gallia and the A.R. Provence, remains a matter we consider worth discussing in due time. We can address this in a neutral space, like I mentioned, Freeport 10 in Tau-37, or any location you may deem more appropriate. This is a standing proposition, and we will be able to sort these things, as you said, more easily via direct exchange.

I thought you were dead, glad I am wrong.
There have been no recent incidents with Phoenix or ARM for that matter with Union Corse ships. I suppose it was a misunderstanding with you and your "Famiglie" but that is over now. As long as it doesn't continue, we have no need to judge or act upon such actions. Moving on from that, I suppose some trade between us would do some good, those markets have goods that we need, and what we offer from the Edge everyone wants. Getting here is not easy though, I'd suggest taking any future agreed contracted convoys through the Sigmas, its their best bet getting here alive. Before I get ahead of myself though, I guess you still want to meet in Tau-37 on that Freeport? It is far, but not unreachable by our standards.
What specifics you wish to discuss, I will listen to what you have to offer us.
