Overview

The loss of Freeport 9 came at a heavy price, and not just for the Zoners. The Imperio’s dominance in the Ionia region has affected both the Core and the Gas Miners Guild, particularly economically, due to the increasing frequency of the Corsair raids. Any further advance by the bloodthirsty hordes from Crete could prove fatal for one of the organisations.

A decisive and swift initiative was needed, and it has finally been taken. At last, a hope has dawned for the civilised inhabitants of the Edge Worlds and the Sigmas.

It may be temporary, but the leaders of the Core, the Gas Miners Guild, and the Zoners have formed a tripartite alliance to hold back the existential threat from South-Eastern Sirius and protect their shared interests in the region.

Whilst the Imperio is engulfed in the flames of war on the fronts of Bretonia, Rheinland, and the Omegas, the united forces of small yet tightly-knit and battle-hardened paramilitary groups are making a deadly attempt to recapture the legendary trade hub of the Omicrons from the mighty Colossus of Crete. Only the Gods know how this standoff will end.

Combat Area & Disposition

The Core and GMG ships will start gathering near Planet Kurile 30 minutes before the event starts
The Zoners will gather near Planet Pygar
The Corsairs will gather around Freeport 9
Combat will take place at the intersection of sectors E3 and E4.

Objectives

Standard fleet fight: destroy all opponent's forces.

Rules

Allowable IDs: BHG, Core, Corsairs, GMG and Zoners
The event starts once forces are engaged in the designated combat area.
Only registered ships may take place in the event.
Try to avoid running into the PvE battle zones if at all possible.
No combat-docking.
No respawning.
No restocking on bases or planets. Restocking on carrier ships is allowed.
The event ends when all ships from either side have been eliminated.
