To us all, Okamoto was a model citizen, one who rose up to answer duty's call, and in so doing, proving a most capable tactician and a brilliant strategist. Yet for some, myself amongst these damned souls, he was a friend. Words cannot, and never will, be sufficient to describe the sorrow that such a tragedy brings. It is my hope that Kusari shall not forget his sacrifice.
But I come to you to speak not of loss and sorrow, but of revenge. To you and yours, I extend an invitation; for the past weeks, I have labored tirelessly to devise plans for a surgical strike to bring about the end of this corrupt cabinet, unwilling as they are to push harder against Liberty's brazen moves and offering nothing but empty words in the wind when faced with national tragedy. I have no doubt that His Radiance will see our righteous cause and aid us, therefore it falls upon our shoulders to bring to justice those traitors on New Tokyo that still chant for peace as they cower and shy away from their responsibilities.

I cannot offer you places in a would-be cabinet, nor do I myself seek one for any lengthy period of time, yet in spite of this, there remains one principle that I wish we abide by. Kusari will no longer allow itself to be humiliated by Liberty, and we must see to it that our military brings about a new kind of war, one for which we have honed our blade for many months and years. I have, these past weeks, visited our frontline troops from my position as Lord Protector - their conviction in our cause is absolute, and we cannot allow some meddling bureaucrats on New Tokyo to stand in our way. Rest assured that when the time comes, we will not be alone.
But I speak in riddles, perhaps, for the common man. You will be given amnesty for your heroic deeds, you will be offered a generous fund to compensate for any injuries sustained throughout this mission and more to cover travel and residence on any of the Core Worlds, and once the matter is dealt with, those amongst you who desire to contribute to the war effort will be provided with ample training and the resources to be the vanguard of the Naval Forces.

Some twenty-four hours from this message, the Haruna will make her way to New Tokyo orbit. Once there, my crew will take over communications with the nearby Hamamatsu and order them to stand down from their posts and make for Shikoku at once. I have faith that this we will achieve within the hour; as this is to occur, your supporters are to halt all orbital traffic and ensure that there are no further reinforcements bound for planetside New Tokyo proper.
With the orbit secured so, I will take command over operations to eliminate several key figures that have stood in our path for years: Prime Minister Sanae Miyasu, Economy, Industry & Finances Minister, Ryuu Majima, Foreign Affairs Minister, Toshinori Kojirou, and Special Secretary for Technological Advancement, Irelei Miyasu. It is of utmost importance that we also locate Defence Minister Masamune Kogen, but they are to be treated as a potential collaborator, as must we do with Shogun Ikeda Yamato.
