From: Raul Sanchez To: Commander Mia Bonello Subject: Capital ship registration
Two new RM-1 destroyer class ships were found yesterday in Maltan orbit. Both captains forgot to register their ships, and both were informed about the registration. Sadly that was yesterday, and the ships still can not be found in the registration. -=SerJio=- |DS|_Lord_|F|
Just came across this so I guess I might contribute my two cents....
[\JG/]Komodo is an OC battleship.
Purchased a long time ago and is currently retired from service.
The ship has never seen combat and hopefully nor it ever will.
Worst case scenario you will see it take a stroll around a Certain freeport to warm its engines and then dock. (Frankly, just trying to make sure it doesnt get deleted.)
Since I am trying to move JG's stance towards neutrality, Let me know and I may move that ship to help OC's defend alpha in a limited capacity.
(Remember, it is mostly for show nothing much else as JG pilots prefer smaller vessels.)
This is El Capitan Fernandez Alonso i herby ask formely to the construction yard on Planet malta to release a Outcast destroyer for me. Me and my crew are ready to assist our allies in need in the Liberty system.

From: Raul Sanchez To: Commander Mia Bonello Subject: Capital ship registration Priority:High
Today, few hours ago, during my regular patrol i found a stolen dreadnought class ship, callsign MNS-Indipendenza. The ship was found in Maltan orbit. I quickly called for backup, which consisted of several 101st, RoS and SoB pilots. Rainerio was one of them. The captain refused to answer all questions we asked. Under Rainerio's orders we disabled his engines and went to return the ship to our shipyards.
But it seems his engineers repaired them quickly, as soon as we moved away from the ship it turned his engines on and left Alpha. Target was lost somewhere in Tau space.

The stolen Outcast Dreadnought known as the MNS-Indipendenza has been marked hostile and added to our 'search and destroy' registration list. Even after discussion with the Captain of this rogue craft, he had refused to return the ship itself back to Corsica. Find him.

TO: Commander Mia Bonello, BS MNS Requiem
FROM: Captain Giancarlo Torino, Malta
SUBJECT: Requisition of RM-1
Commander Bonello,
I am requesting permission to purchase a RM-1 currently at Malta ship port. This Destroyer will replace my previous command ship used to support maintaining smuggler routes, strike Libertys defenses, and acquire corporate resources. My previous ship has been decommissioned due to un-repairable hull fatigue fractures accumulated during jumps and weapon scoring.
During these last years I have accumulated enough liquidated funds to offer the full price for the RM-1. I am willing to pay some reasonable amount in fees if required. The new Destroyer will carry the Outcast paperwork (ID) and I plan to name her Difensora.
Bottomline, my charter assists the Outcast nation by maintaining the Cardamine trade routes between Alpha and Liberty. I currently hold interest in a pirate train that frequents the space between Alpha and Liberty systems. Her Captain has been successful in consistently routing into the heart of Liberty.

SUBJECT: Brand-new, unregistered RM-1 detected!
*Begin of Transmission*
Today we have discovered a new RM-1 Destroyer (callsign "Graf") without official license. I have instructed him how to register the purchased RM-1. We should give him a few days for the procedure before regarding the destroyer as stolen.
Kind regards,
Miguel Sancho

OOC: it seemed to me that Graf has problems with the English language (i had to explain him the whole stuff in his native language...), so it could be difficult for him to write a proper registration request. But he has although promised to do it.
*** Corsica, C-Deck, "Central of Communication" COC ***
A medium sized man with almost complete grey hair walks upstairs towards the COC. As he reaches the entrance he takes an ID card out of his pocket and plugs it into the security console besides the door. A cold, rasping voice says "Access granted" and the man enteres the room.
The air in the COC is warm and arid and the annoying sound of working computers can be heard all over the place.
The man straightly heads for the desk at the end of the room where a man is sitting at his computer.
"Excuse me, my name is Ricardo Jaramago. I have a letter for the Commander ... could you hand it over to her, I'm in a hurry"
The man at the desk looks bored at the letter, nods and continues his work without saying a word.
Ricardo hands over the letter and leaves the COC.

The letter is handwritten. The caption is snappy and charming.
The sheet of writing is graced by the maltese cross.
[Letter]
Honorable Commander,
Sometime, every man reaches a point in live where he says to himself that it is enough and where he wants to spend his remaining years in peace and harmony.
I, for myself reached this point. I noticed that my fighting skills have reduced the last years. I have served the outcast regular army for over 20 years, the last years as captain of the Outcast Cruiser Despiadado, but now its time to break up. So I'm handing in my resignation.
If you agree, I want to pass the control over the Despiadado to my son Adrian.
He surely would be a great and reasonably captain.
The ship is currently docked at Malta Spaceport for maintenance (after the last battle some repairs were needed) but it should be ready for combat the next days.
kind regards
Ricardo Jaramago, former captain of the OC-Despiadado

I shall not give you my name, as i also go on different ships as a spy in the corsairs, but the ship's name will be Pyrros, Meaning "Flame-Like"
I Hope to see you around Malta soon.
