First of all, what people don't realise is that Light fighters should have better anti-fighter capabilities than Very heavy fighters, they should!
Secondly, I disagree on Phantom, big target. It needs better agility or h.f. power supply in combination with 2 class-10 guns.
They should and they have..... but when I can take my liberator against 2 Sabres and 2 Falcatas (one of the pilots is on the same level as me, one is very good as well, those two others were above average)
and kill a Sabre without ever getting hull damage?
Then another Liberator on my side and one more sabre(on the other side) comes..... and we kill them all... still without getting any hull damage....
Isn't that uber?

Idealy LF should win any fighter 1 on 1 but loose to any fighters 1 on 2... And stats far from reveal it's potential... They are just small and fast... If they were bigger, so they could be hit... the whole situation would be diffrent...
I envision light fighters as being able to out turn a single opponent, not dodge every shot from everywhere but rather evade getting shot at.

Actually... I would probably say that it all just depends on skill...
But Mjolnir when you get to that part - Ive always found my Liberator a very nice touch to the LN's Guardians/Avengers and the LSF's Ravens Claws - They complete me...
Well Jure if they where just to "out-turn" people then they would need a semi-substantial hull buff... As even with the Liberator on some fighters they will still turn and fire a few shots...

You're right. I owned Sabre in 1 on 1 combat with my Liberator when I had playing the mod only for a few days (Sabre is also a big target and that's why I think it shouldn't be nerfed as many people wish).
But think of Phantom again as it's nok O.K. at all. Even if they both have the same agility - 1.4(as you suggested elswhere), Liberator will be still smaller, nimble and much harder to hit. I've seen Phantom being owned by bombers. I myself flew one against Taiidan which was dodging as hell while still being able to hit and succesfully destroy the gunboat nearby. It needs better agility in the first place and better power supply of some sort.
I have one Phantom....I flew it a bit more today to get a reminder... and yes it's quite slow/big.
So while Liberator moves "down" to Wyrm level...
for Phantom I suggested:
- increase reverse speed to some -30 or -50 (basically just to try it in betas, might be a bit interesting)
- increase turning a bit (not as fast as liberator turns now, something like half way there;)
